We had an amazing experience through the dealer we bought our Covington model from. However, after the setup, we have not heard a word from many contacts at Franklin to find out when their crew was coming out to finish the home. We HAD to move in our home due to our living situation. We have a major electrical issue, no light bulbs at all in the house, unfinished floor in the living room, many cosmetic repairs needed, molding on top of kitchen cabinets are barely tacked on. ALL of the wood flooring has paint or other marks that won't come up unless I scrub on my hands and knees.
Our master bath tile was messed up (color choices) and not to what we were expecting after making a few changes. This is totally unacceptable. My husband has 20+ years in the modular manufacturing business and we are really frustrated. Yes, the home is beautiful, quality is good, but I wish we had looked into a Deer Valley home or read these reviews first!

We ordered a Lauderdale home from Franklin Homes. The home came beautifully. The paint was great, the home was beautiful. Built just the way I wanted. Absolutely beautiful. DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THEIR TRIM OUT CREW FOR ANYTHING. The trim out crew was awful, ruined the paint job, ruined my ceilings during trim out. Damaged my countertops when they used them to cut sheet rock.
They refuse to fix that. 2 years later, we have replaced almost all of the fixtures, had to relevel our tub and repair cracks from improper install. They had to redo my shower due to a leak and that was like pulling teeth trying to get someone to come do that. Saving money now to have someone come in and resend and repaint. I do recommend buying a Franklin Home but I would opt out of the trim out and hire my own company to come in. The worst.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality I have been battling Franklin Homes for a year now trying to get my electrical problems fixed. They refuse to come fix them. My breakers keep tripping in my house daily. It has also burn up my microwave. I do not recommend Franklin Homes. Major problems and no help! Services: Design, Paint indoors, Install flooring

I've been working with Franklin Homes for almost 3 years now trying to get a new home built and finalized. There were many issues with my home when it was delivered, however, Franklin refused to complete any work until AFTER closing because "technically I did not own the home yet, and therefore it was not under warranty." Moving forward almost a year after closing and Franklin is now refusing to return my phone calls and messages.
This winter will be the 3rd Christmas that my gas fireplace has not worked. Thanks Franklin Homes. You have made this the most unforgettable home building experience in my life. Do not purchase from this company! ***UPDATE*** After leaving DOZENS of voice-mails with at least 4 different people over several months, AND after this most recent review posted, I was finally contacted by Franklin. That was almost 3 weeks ago. Haven't heard anything since. More lies and broken promises. I'M BEGGING EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY!

Also anyone looking at going with Franklin needs to call me, I can tell you the experience I've had going on for since the end of October 2020. And I'll be glad to show all the pictures I have to show the mess my home is in. I have all the text of my communications to Franklin and I have asked several times for someone from Franklin to come out and see for themselves the condition of my new home, and I never get a response on that.
The stone on my fireplace was installed 1 off level, Franklin has told me for 3 months that the stone company would be calling and coming out to fix it, I've heard nothing from them. They have sent 3 crews, one crew made a mess of my walls, several things had to be redone. I would not go with Franklin( I do believe they build a good home) but communications is pitiful, service is terrible and little concern for their customers.
