Open cell foam typically has an R value from 2.8 to 4.1 depending on the manufacturers blend.

We hired Mike to spray foam our basement and we highly recommend him for your spray foam project. We talked to 3 companies for the job, and Mike out-shown them easily. He is very knowledgeable, professional and honest. He gave us advice on the next steps of our project and explained everything very well. His price was better than the other companies we spoke to, and he was on time for the quote and the work.
The job itself was extremely smooth, 3 inches of closed cell foam on all exterior walls of our basement. Mike and his team came the day before to cover everything in plastic and tape. He was able to accommodate some odd areas around old doors and windows, and foamed the entire sill plate despite 2 utility rooms. The job was done in half a day and Mike was very responsive to my follow up questions. Cannot recommend Mike more, if there were more stars as options I would've given him more!

Mike was great to talk to and very knowledgeable. No surprises, was on time to do the job, covered everything prior to spraying and did a great job! Giving a 4 star because his truck broke down to no fault of his own. Other than that I'd refer him over all the others I talked and got quotes from. If you're reading this don't use Quality Insulation! That's why I had to call MJW Drywall to fix the issue and get it done correctly.

Mike and his crews have been doing my dry wall and foam insulation for years. His prices are reasonable and he arrives when he says he will. The fact that he does both the insulation and the dry wall makes my job easier, no scheduling problems. He installs the insulation and as soon as it is inspected he shows up with the dry wall, hangs it, tapes it and finishes the job. Thanks Mike for your excellent service over the years.

I hired MJW Drywall & foam Insulation LLC. to help me insulate my 200 year old Motel which is right on the ocean. After sitting in front of the ocean for 200 years the building had drafts coming and going with every passing breeze. Mike was a true professional and crawled patiently through all the nooks and spaces of the house, analyzing which areas were in need of what type of insulation.
He ended up using spray foam to surround the inside of the foundation and rim of the building, creating a seal that after 5 years still has kept the drafts from coming in. I appreciated the time he spent setting up so that the spraying didn't make a mess, and when they left it was cleaned up like they were never there. Since this job was complete I've hired MJW to seal up other parts of the building using the spray foam, and been really happy with the completion of the job.
This old building is tighter than ever and it has a lot to do with the thorough jobs performed by MJW Drywall & Foam.thanks guys for a great job. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a hardworking crew, where the owner is there doing the job and making sure the customer is getting their monies worth.

I've worked w/ mjw at least 5 times now. Mike helped me on our commercial projects, our rental properties, and my own home.
