Garrett Waterproofing provides complete waterproofing services for Dubuque, Iowa and the surrounding areas in Illinios and Wisconsin. The only way to truly waterproof a foundation is when we apply a specifically designed rubber waterproof membrane along with a drainage pipe. Insuring no water penetration into your basement.
The first is on the exterior side, where we excavate down to the footing and apply a rubber waterproof membrane and protection course over the crack. The second method is epoxy injection from the interior side. This is where we would seal the crack with epoxy paste and then inject epoxy resin into the crack, filling the width depth and height of the crack.

I had to call Garrett Waterproofing twice, for 2 separate properties. The first project, they went above and beyond and took care of my basement issues that have now been problem-free for a year. The second time I called, for a different property, they simply gave me a do-it-yourself tip to correct the problem and it didn't cost me a thing. But sadly, I'm getting ready to call again for a third property with a basement water problem.but the good news is that I know they will handle it efficiently and it will be another job well done!

Garrett Waterproofing waterproofed my basement several years ago and added a sump pump. The quote was fair and they took the time to explain the 'why's' (something that is very important to me). The crew was courteous and neat and completed the job efficiently. Today I saw water pooling in my basement and called them. John Garrett came out immediately to analyze the issue-turns out it was not an issue with my drains or pump, but he explained the situation and the remedy. I would totally recommend Garrett Basement Waterproofing-they are honest and responsive professionals and their work is quality!

Garrett waterproofing went above and beyond to help in repairing my parents basements. Both of my parents are disabled and I am young knowing nothing about basement repairs. We were in desperate need of waterproofing and other companies quoted me $25,000 for the same job. Garrett Waterproofing did an amazing job of extending and completing the waterproofing of our basement. Mary years ago we hied a well known company to waterproof most of the basement. We did not do one if the walls because we did not want to narrow a hallway or remove the staircase. Naturally this is where the water presented itself after installing a new patio.
When I called the original company, I was told they no longer serviced our area. John Garrett was recommended by a longtime builder and Mr Garrett is MOST impressive and knowledgable. He is a true professional and expert in his field. He followed in his father's footsteps who started the business, and now his son supervises much of the work. John Garrett Jr communicated timing throughout the three days they were at our home.
He positioned the Garrett Waterproofing Trailer at the end of our driveway at night so we could park our cars in the garage without inconvenience. They had a system in the basement to remove dust via a dryer vent. The crew even washed the basement floor when they finished. My husband and I definitely highly recommend Garrett Waterproofing to anyone and everyone.
