BAR Painting

While turning left from cole to go onto the connector on Good Friday, the man driving the company truck blew through the yield sign and cut in front of us. We slammed on breaks to keep from hitting him and honked. He then stuck his arm out the window flipped us off and cut across the traffic to hit the interstate. Very unprofessional, definitely would never consider for a paint project.

Brian, Richard and Conner did an excellent job of painting the exterior of our home! They paid close attention to detail, stayed on schedule, and were easy to work with throughout the project. We highly recommend them as professional painters.

Called Brian at BAR for free estimate. Multiple times we scheduled to meet and all but the last time, he had reasons not to show. I had to contact him to find out why. He said he was having medical issues and I completely sympathized with that and told him to wait until things improved. He contacted me after a week to ask to reschedule again, but again, didn't show and asked to come the next day instead.

When we finally met, I was tired and hot from cleaning up and my dog was barking loudly so I had to physically move him out of the room. Understatement that we didn't start off well. I wanted a certain paint which he had told me I could do earlier, but then was hesitant to use that brand because of whatever reason. Finally, I asked him to move his bid writing from the hand painted counters my daughter and I had worked on to the stove top and he said, in a huff, I'm out of here and left.

PHENOMENAL! Our home didn't even look this good when it was a brand new Parade of Homes house. Brian's meticulous attention to detail, care and perfection cannot be matched.

Aptly named! Brian and Company are the absolute best painters I have ever worked with. Prompt and professional. Outstanding workmanship. Brian is a perfectionist and included so many little "extras" in our project that I couldn't begin to count them all. Examples: Caulked, sealed and painted soffits that were never touched by the last two paint companies.

He power washed the entire building before they started prepping and painting. Three man crew did a massive amount of work in a two day period, I was tired just watching out the window! They worked tirelessly in the scorching hot sun, and the results are absolutely perfect. Highly recommend. I won't call anyone else from now on. You are stuck with me as a lifetime customer, Brian!

I requested a quote on a Saturday with Brush Above the Rest and on Sunday, I received a call from Brian, the owner. I gave him a quick rundown of what I was looking for and we scheduled a time for him to look at my house. He came over on Monday, I received a quote that evening and on Thursday, Brian and his team were painting the interior of my home.

They completed the job Friday morning. They did an absolutely amazing job! We had Brian and his team at Brush Above the Rest paint the exterior of our house. Painting the house exterior is like changing the oil in the car--it is the most important task to help avoid even more expensive repair projects down the road. Brian understands this, and works with this goal in mind--let's take care of the any issues now to hopefully avoid future issues.

He and his crew spent a lot--probably most--of the time preparing the house for the paint job by power washing, caulking, etc. He found a wet spot on the house, and crawled under the house to make certain that whatever had caused the water leak had been resolved. He made recommendations that both improved the look of the house and will assist in keeping moisture away from the house.

Beyond mere maintenance, however, Brian and the crew made the house look great with the new paint job. And when we found two very small issues after the job was nearly completed-a light was not rewired correctly and one light was not reinstalled, Brian came out immediately and took care of the issues without any fuss. A week after the job was completed, and we couldn't be happier.

And we will sleep better at night next winter knowing that our house is protected because it was painted by a true professional. We most highly recommend Brush Above the Rest.

These guys saved our house from being the ugliest house in the neighborhood. They were professional, friendly, understanding, creative, and hard workers. Great to work with Brian asked a lot of questions, sent a bid quickly and made great recommendations and helped us find a drywall repair person. He removed wall paper and then painted we would definitely recommend Brian and his company and will use them again on our rentals.

I would strongly recommend this paint service. They were quick and professional. It took them less than 4 days to complete my two story house. It would have been done more quickly but a couple of those days they had to quit early because the temperature climbed near 100 before noon. They caulked holes and primed areas prior to painting. They taped everything and ensured that they didn't get paint where paint shouldn't be.

There is one negative thing I have to admit. I don't like the color and I chose it! It's completely my fault! I picked it! I wanted grey and it came out a blue-grey color. When I first saw it I was shocked and expressed my distaste for the color. Brian, the owner, offered to change it because they had only sprayed half the front, but I declined because I thought it would have grown on me and it was butted up against the old green color.

It has never grown on me and I should have taken him up on his generous offer. Not only did they paint my house but they replaced all my outdoor light fixtures for free (all I had to do was buy them). Brian and his crew were kind and professional and when I get sick of the blue-grey I will hire Brush Above the Rest to change it.

It was clear from our first meeting with Brian from Brush above the rest that his knowledge was exceptional and that he takes pride in his word and his quality. He arrived on the date and time scheduled to give an estimate for exterior painting of our 4 color home and some interior touch up. Brian and his crew were professional, very neat, quick and just a pleasure to have working at our home.

We feel very fortunate that we made the choice to have Brian and his crew on the job. Our home looks better than when we purchased it new and several neighbors have been asking who we used. My brother who is extremely meticulous was also impressed and that is saying a lot. I now have one number in my contact list for painter and that is Brian at BAR painting.
