This company painted our beloved victorian 5 years ago and it now looks like it was painted 20 years ago. They did not seal it properly and we now have costly problems. And we had chosen the most costly choice of paint job. The owner was always on vacation and no one supervised the job. We are just sick, 5 years later, that we ever chose this company to paint our Noe Valley home.

They are awesome! The workers are all very considerate of all of your belongings, and very sweet. The work is GREAT! As soon as they arrive at the job site they have a morning meeting for the work that will be done for that day and they get right to work and get the job done to the best of there ability. I am very very happy of the work they have done to my Victorian! I will DEFINITELY use them in the Future!

ZERO STARS I am having my house repainted and we are finding numerous examples of shoddy work from this company in the old paint job. In particular: the use of "terpolymer elastomeric" sloppily applied to the entire surface, stucco and wood, that now will require that stucco be removed and wood stripping be done as well. While I did not post a review at the time, I was underwhelmed by their lackadaisical and unprofessional crew as well as the expensive "color consultation" that was mediocre, probably because the house is not a high profile Victorian.
Large buckets of paint waste-wash were left on site when they should have been disposed of and miscellaneous debris was also left behind. They also didn't paint the chimney and I had to convince them that it was part of the job.

I recently contracted S.F. Renaissance to paint my home and was extremely pleased with the job they did. Their employees made it a priority to accommodate any issues or wants I had. Chris was very informative on making me understand how the process would go. I highly recommend them to anyone interested in a high end paint or restoration job. Theyre professionals!

These guys are the best when it comes to preparation & paying attention to details. They painted our house and in process found dry wood and damaged sheet-metal flashing. They were able to show us pictures and took care of it promptly and reasonably instead of painting over problems like our previous painters. Thank You, S.F. Renaissance Team for a painless experience. Jacqueline & Robert.

We've used them a few times on our building and always had good results. Wood rot has been an issue with our building, which always resulted in higher costs. The work was always professional. Email usually isn't the best way to contact them. Calls were always returned. The foreman we had, Chris, can be loud, but would never consider it yelling.
I think he gets that from communicating to his workers up on the scaffolding. He was always upfront with me and walked through everything with me as the work progressed on our last job. I'd definitely consider using them again. Since getting something painted these days doesn't come cheap, we'd still get multiple quotes.

Completely unprofessional in every way, shape, and form. This company does very sloppy and shoddy work and not only damaged things in my home and spilled white paint all over my hardwood floor, they did not make good on the repairs they promised, including cleaning the paint that seeped into the hardwood. If you like being yelled at and not having your calls and emails returned, give these guys a try!
The paint is peeling off the walls in 3 places after only a few months! It really should not matter how small or large the job is, every customer should get a quality service that they were guaranteed. How come we can't have a zero star option? Zero stars all the way!
