Bay State Disposal

Whatever you do, do not hire this company. Seriously. They never pick up the dumpsters. I've had a dumpster at my house for 3+ days due to their incompetence. On 9/9 I called to order a dumpster. Was told they are backed up so we scheduled it to be picked up on 9/17. On 9/17 they don't show up. I call and they say they can try and pick up on Saturday 9/18.

They don't show. I call at 9am on 9/20 and was told I'm definitely on the schedule today. Call back at 430 pm and am told "you're still being picked up today, our guys work until 7pm." At 6:40 pm I call back and get their answering service who says "all i can do is take a message and pass it along." I want this dumpster removed from my property. Do not hire them if you actually want someone to take your garbage.

Was a customer of baystate disposal for nearly 20 years. They recently got bought out and the new company winwaste innovations is unusable. Baystate was reliable, friendly and honest company to deal with and deserved 10 stars but unfortunately the new company is none of these and has become unusable as a vendor. Very sad for our loss of a great vendor and very happy for Sean at Baystate for cashing out after years of hard work. If your calling thinking your getting the old Baystate Disposal, your be sorely disappointed. Winwaste is a disaster.

We have been a customer of Bay State for 3 years and suddenly they started missing our business with their pick ups. I called to let them know that my dumpster is completely full and they have not come to pick up for two weeks. They didn't care and just said they will pick it up next week on the normal weekly pick up time- which again they have missed for two weeks.

In the meantime trash is piling up at the back door. I cancelled my account and they said they will be charging cancellation fees despite the fact I am cancelling due to the fact they are not performing the services I pay for. Completely unacceptable.

They were able to deliver the dumpster at the price quoted. On the other hand: 1) they have no idea what scheduling means, 2) they have no terms and conditions or any other documentation in connection to a contract (aside from prohibited items and weight limits) so if you encounter an issue they will basically say "that's what you say" and shrug it off, 3) for a small company, they seem to have no idea how to document who took what order and when, or how to communicate internally as I had to explain the same experience to four people before they simply arrived at Point 2), and 4) they seem to be generally more expensive then competition. Advice to Customers: If you need a dumpster quickly, they should be able to help you. If you don't, search elsewhere.

They have prompt delivery and pickup (+1). Just be careful of the overweight charge which is quite steep. Apparently my dumpster went into the "overcharge" range which I struggled a bit to understand. I did not think the old planking from my deck would add up to so much weight. To their credit, they sent me copies of the of the final pickup weight.

I've worked with a few dumpster companies and I have to say their service has been great. I used a company prior to them that had random charges for oil, computer parts, electronics, and whatever. With Baystate, I just dumped everything in and of it goes. It was painless. They worked with me via email and over the phone which was great because my schedule was all over the place. Anne was also amazing to work with as she took care of my pick up and new rental. Thanks.

Very easy to work with. Get the dumpster next day and they come to pick it up after the project done.

Always been very happy with service, but find it a bit cheesy that they won't honor their $10 coupon unless mentioned when dumpster is ordered. This on a total bill of $731.

We rented a dumpster for a general house clean-out. With a friend's recommendation, we found Bay State Disposal to have the best prices without the exclusions (i.e. electronics) that other companies had. We received prompt delivery and removal on our scheduled dates. The office staff were very courteous and e-mailed invoices right away. The driver expertly navigated our narrow driveway and gently dropped the dumpster. I would highly recommend Bay State Disposal.

Awful and overpriced roll off service. Order a dumpster for first thing in the morning with a weeks notice and you get it at 3pm. I asked the driver what the delay in delivery was and he said "I was done with my day and they called me and told me to drop this." Wow, that's some customer service right there. Baystate did succeed at one thing though, every time I think of trash, their name comes to mind immediately.

Bay State Disposal's customer service is wonderful. They had a few problems delivering the dumpster to us on the agreed date, so in response to what Sean termed "a nightmare", he offered to waive the daily rental fee on the dumpster. Thank you! The rental price is right and the terms and conditions are very fair and straightforward. We have more renovations planned in the future -- I will definitely contact BayState Disposal.

My company has been using Bay State Disposal for about 10 years for everything from construction projects to apartment clean outs and they have never let us down. They deliver and pick up quickly, their drivers can slide the roll offs into even the tightest spaces and we have never been charged any bogus "overweight" fees like we have with almost every other dumpster company. I highly recommend.

It may seem strange for me to characterize a disposal company as a "breath of fresh air, " but believe me, the analogy applies. Our business switched from Waste Mgmt a year ago, and we are very pleased with the service we receive from Bay State Disposal. Their terms are clear, we've had excellent communication with their local representative, their prices are excellent.

I've used Bay State three times over the last few years and have never had a complete. I tend to hold onto my dumpsters for probably longer than I ought to, so their $1 per day pricing is great for me! Whenever I've used them, they drop off the dumpster within a day or two and pick them up within a day or two.

Mainly dissatisfied with a promise to deliver at 7am and not arriving until 12pm. I specifically requested that time and pickup on same day. Dumpster remained overnight. On the other hand, the driver was both courteous and great at maneuvering the dumpster in a very tight spot.
