I believe this is the 2nd review I have ever done for any business on line. I am a busy professional and frankly don't have the time, but I volunteered to do so this time because I was so pleased with the work I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Robert Gacuta and his business Better Home Ideas. I contacted him when I purchased a new home that I wanted to do some painting and repairs.
Within a day the owner was here and did a comprehensive walk through and within two days got me a very reasonable and fair quote. I did not need a designer because Robert had an eye for colors and the two of us picked out all the colors for the house. That required at least 5 trips (Sundays included) for Robert to get more samples, wait until they dried, look at them when it was light and the dark in the evening.
Once all the work was done I also found many handy-man little things that needed to be done from fixing cabinet hinges to hanging artwork. Robert and his crew never complained. They did everything I asked and many extras for no extra charge. Robert himself was often hear to supervise or even to do certain little things himself that he wanted to take responsibility for.
He came not once, but twice for final inspections just to make certain we hadn't missed anything. A week later Robert emailed me to make sure again that everything was still fine. Sometimes I don't even get that kind of service in a classy restaurant. There is no question I would use Better Home Ideas for my next job because they really do have better ideas.
In addition, I recommended them to my neighbors, one of which hired Robert and they also were very pleased with the work. In this day and age it is impossible to find fair, honest, and good contracters. I've had my share of bad ones and am suing one for fraud now. Better Home Ideas clearly stands out.
