The history of The Woodshop of Avon is a classic story of friends, tradition, and good old Midwestern work ethic. It started with two men fueled by a love for the craft, and a commitment to designing and building quality products, The Woodshop of Avon has now grown to become a leader in custom built cabinetry. In 1981, The Woodshop of Avon was founded by John Harlander and Mark Caspers with humble beginnings in John's single stall garage. The company quickly outgrew the garage and set up shop in a larger facility in Avon, Minnesota.

The Woodshop of Avon is a quality residential and commercial cabinet manufacturer that has been in business since 1981. We are located in Albany, MN - about 20 miles west of St. Cloud. Operate woodworking machines such as : CNC routers, edge bander, beam saw, sanders, planers, shapers, dovetailer, gang rip, moulder, etc.
Our showrooms are open to the public and you are welcome to stop in to view our displays and samples. If you would like to speak to a designer we recommend making an appointment so you receive the attention you deserve. We will work directly with you but we also enjoy opportunities to collaborate with your architect, interior designer, builder or remodeler.
Our award winning designers can translate your needs, tastes and sense of style into the functional home or office environment you've always wanted. We have certified kitchen designers (CKD) on staff to assist you in making your dream kitchen a reality. We will give you the personalized service you deserve from design through installation of cabinetry and countertops in the building or remodeling of your home.
