A Better Garage Door

I worked with LauraTo get a quote for my garage door. She Is knowledgeable and detail oriented. She also did everything that she could to help me save money including going to Home Depot to order from them so that I can take advantage of specials. I did not wind up ordering the door because Clopay is so far behind on their orders, but Joanie, the President, Reached out to find out if my project was still active.

To me that means that they review their order status on a regular basis to ensure that things are getting done and no one fell through the cracks. I will certainly do business with them in the future.

We had a problem with our garage door on a Saturday afternoon that prevented us from closing the door completely, as our house is brand new and we had a warranty. We contacted Quality Overheard Door. They came out Monday afternoon to fix our door. The technician was very professional. He ensured our garage door was working properly with minimal noise. I would recommend their service.

Quality Garage Door Company promptly came out to estimate and explain my options in replacing the old garage door. The new door price was very reasonable along with the upgrades requested. insulation, insect proof extra duty bottom door closure band, jack hammer side motor and magnetic assessories to accent the door. Miss Joanie and the crew were professional, courteous and did a Great Job on the garage door Installation.

I used Quality Overhead Door 7 years prior to install a new garage door opener on our single car garage and lube and tune both the single and double car garage doors. Fast forward to July 2, 2020, a spring on our double car garage broke. Planning on going with what I thought was a known quantity, I found the receipt from 7 years back and called Quality Overhead Door to replace the springs on the double car garage.

Fast forward to November 13, 2020. the garage door would not open. Upon inspection I discovered one of the springs replaced by Quality Overhead Door in July 2020 had broken. Very unusual for certain. I called Quality Overhead Door and they indicated they could not be out for 4 days (called on a Friday @ 02:00 PM). Reluctantly, I accepted the appointment for 4 days out.

Being a bit miffed that Quality Overhead Door would not prioritize a current customer issue, I started thinking about the situation and other options. I began considering why a new spring would break. I thought back to the day the technician installed the new springs. The technician mention something about not being sure if he had the correct springs.

He disappeared for a moment to his truck and returned indicating he was good to go. I decided to investigate the broken spring installation. I noted that the new springs that had been installed by Quality Overhead Door were much shorter than the previous springs. There were hold down screw indents in the door roller rod from the old springs. Those old dents were out 12 inches further on the right side and 16 inches further out on the left side.

Immediately I realized that technician from Quality Overhead Door installed improper springs for this double car garage door. They were WAY TOO SMALL to handle the load. Why did the technician do this? Surely he noticed the garage door would not stay open after he installed these improper springs? Best guess. the technician was too lazy to go and get the proper springs for the job or Quality Overhead Door could not keep adequate stock of parts.

I decided it was in my interest to find and hire another company to come out to evaluate the situation after realizing that this was a botched installation by Quality Overhead Door. It is clear that Quality Overhead Door is not the same "quality" company from 7 years ago. Considering Quality Overhead Door scheduling times are in days instead of hours and technicians don't have the proper parts in stock certainly raises red flags. Hopefully my experience can help others stay clear of Quality Overhead Door.

Raymond came out today on a request from our home warranty! He took one look at our opener, made a phone call and an hour later we had a new opener! I was really concerned they would just patch the old one, Raymond wasn't going to let that happen! We couldn't be happier with Quality Overhead Door and there employees! Will definitely recommend them to anyone!

My garage door was failing with two split panels after 26 years of service and needed to be replaced. I wanted to replace it with the same quality door. I requested bids from four companies listed on Amarr.com for the same make/model door. Responses varied between companies for price and lead time. I decided to get a fifth bid from Quality Overhead Door.

Quality Overhead Door stood out in several ways. Joani's response to my request was prompt and I received a quote in two hours. The quote was fairly priced, clear and concise with no upsells. The next morning a quick measurement appointment was completed and Monday morning install scheduled. Brent arrived on time with all the materials needed.

He was extremely well organized and installation was completed with time to spare. A follow up call for a question was promptly answered. I would have saved time and energy if I had just called Quality Overhead Door who are rated Gold on the Amarr website.

Would definitely recommend Joani and her team for new garage doors. Joani has great knowledge of the industry and different manufacturers. She also was extremely responsive. Everyone who came out to the house was very pleasant and easy to work with.

I do not recommend their services. I have used them in the past. Today, the spring broke on my garage door. I gave them a call and was only able to leave a message. For some reason, they did not follow the directions on my message and call my cell. They called my house and spoke with my son who really did not know what was going on. They told him that they could not come out for several days. Not having heard anything, I contacted Same Day garage door services who were able to do a same day service repair.

We had a great experience with this company and couldn't be more happy with the finished product. Joani helped me find the doors that I wanted and stay within our budget. The doors improved the curb appeal if our house! We would highly recommend them.

I'm never the 1st to review anything. If it doesn't have several consistently high reviews, I'm probably not going to to try it. That would be a mistake in this case. I left a voice mail, requesting a service call. Joanie promptly called back with a price and an opening for the later that afternoon. Nick showed up on time, inspected my garage door and suggested a repair plan. As promised, a short time later he had it operating as smoothly and quietly as it did when new. Give these guys a try.

I did a number of researches online and ended up with 'All About Garage Door' in terms of customer reviews, BBB rating, service timing and price. They deserve an overall 5 stars based on their prompt, dedicated and professional manner. Great job done!

I didn't give this outfit a five star rating because I was at first denied warrantee service on my non-working Liftmaster Garage Door Opener installed by All Valley. Apparently there was a miscommunication between All Valley ownership and Liftmaster about the validity of the warrantee. I had to take it upon myself to contact Liftmaster and when the manufacturers date on the unit was confirmed it was determined that the warrantee was still in effect!

The saving graces through the initial frustrations were Donna and Jack. Donna is the gal who answers the phones for All Valley and is the first contact that a customer interfaces with. She is highly personable, handling my frustrations in this process like a seasoned professional. When Jack, the repairman did his thing by replacing the defective unit and fine tuned everything, I knew I was in good hands. Jack was also very personable and expertly resolved the problem. These two are great people and a huge asset to All Valley Garage Door! Thank you!

As always garage doors tend to break down at 5:30 PM. All Valley was the only help available after 5 pm. Donna was super helpful assessing the damage over the phone, scheduling my appointment in a timely manner and basically solving my emergency. Jack the tech was super cool very approachable and did what would take me a few days in less than 30 minutes. Donna had sent him with the correct parts and my total bill beat all the other quotes for a 16' strut. We purchased a home that was flipped and have a garage that used to be a carport. We've always known the garage floor was sloped and there has always been a little gap on the one side because of it. It always made an obnoxious rattling noise every single time we used the door. When it finally came off of its track we called All Valley Garage Door based on a recommendation from a friend.

We were scheduled that same day and the door was put back on its track and leveled and tightened down everywhere. It was quieter and more secure (a couple bolts had never even been installed). Once the door was actually leveled it became extremely apparent that the house flippers had installed it a little off so that the garage floor slant wouldn't be so obvious.

It was now large enough that small critters could easily make their homes in our garage if the problem wasn't dealt with. I was given options on how to deal with the gap but was never pressured in any way for a same day sale. After I had a chance to think about it I called back to the office and scheduled again. The receptionist was kind and efficient and even though I had to be re-scheduled because of a previous appointment running longer than anticipated I was treated with respect and courtesy throughout the whole process. My garage door is now working well and is secure all at a very fair price. Bottom line: Fair price, courteous employees, timely service. Just go with these guys.

What a wonderful company to do business with, they respond fast and the two techs they send out did the joy fast and right the first time. What a great experience. When my garage door opener was stolen, I couldn't get into my garage to see if anything had been taken. Items that had belonged to my mother were in there and I was near tears. The owner of All Valley Garage (Bill) walked me through the steps over the phone of how to get in and reprogram the door so no one could come back and steal more.

He then made sure that I got the CORRECT opener (something The big box stores couldn't do) and ensured everything was set. Even though this was a tiny "job" I was treated like it was as important to them as it was to me. Not only are the products and service better then big chains, the prices are too. I love that it is a local family owned business. I will definitely refer them to all family and friends. Thanks Bill!

Called in and spoke with Joani the office manager. She was EXTREMELY helpful and worked with me to get all set up with what I needed. Hands down the best price for a new garage door in the valley! Would HIGHLY recommend.

I called on Thursday evening and got a we will return your call as "time permits" message. As of Saturday noon, time has not permitted as I have not heard from them. They previously serviced my garage door but seem to be uninterested in doing so now. I will not call again.

I always try to work with local businesses over the big guys whenever possible. The guys at All Valley are great and my experience with them was positive from start to finish. I will absolutely use them again in the future.

I had requested a call prior to their arrival cause I had an appointment. They never called and just showed up. I had high efficiency bulbs in the old opener that I had told the installer I wanted to use in the new one. Well apparently one broke while screwing it and instead of telling me just threw it in my garbage can. I probably wouldn't be writing this if he would have just told me.

When I noticed the bulb was missing I called the office to tell them and the woman preceded to tell me that their staff doesn't intentionally try to break things. I obviously realize this. During the conversation she never once offered to replace it or apologise. I am new to the area and will never use them again or recommend them and I do real estate rehab as my profession and am always on the look out for good companies to deal with. I will not deal with them again after how they treated me and tried to deceive me.
