Called them 3 different times to get a quote on some granite work. Was redirected to someone's voicemail 3 different times with no call back or follow up. I understand if you're busy around the holiday's or just don't want to waste time on small jobs, but at least call a potential customer back to let them know. It's just rude and bad business practices.
Just let me know if you're not interested in my money so I can call someone who is. Ended up going with a local handy man, way better price and quality! You lose potential revenue when you can't even call people back to set up an appointment or quote, just doesn't make a lot of sense economically so maybe the owner will read this and use those phones they pay for every month.

I have the pleasure of working with Mesa Tile and Stone now twice. Back in 2013 I brought them up from Boise after shopping around our little valley here in Hailey Idaho and found Mesa Tile and Stone not only to have the best price for our very large kitchen countertop but also to have the best selection of the marble we were looking for namely Rainforest Green.
They came up and templated our kitchen and large guest bathroom vanity which had 2 undermount sinks, gave us a chance to position the slabs on the countertops and within weeks came up to install. Everything went superbly in both the L shaped kitchen and guest bath vanity. All had 6cm broken edge which looked superb! I would recommend Mesa Tile and Stone to anyone! Presently they have quoted us 2 countertop remnants for a guest bath and powder room with undermount sinks for our second home on Whidbey Island WA which I will be picking these up here in Boise and installing them in our second home in WA. That is how competitive and willing to work with us they are!

Do not use Mesa Tile & Stone! We used them in 2016 to install 3 slabs of granite in our newly remodeled kitchen. They came out ahead of time to measure everything but the measurements weren't accurate. They cut our beautiful granite and it didn't fit, so they had to bring saws and granite cutters into our kitchen to make the granite fit properly.
I asked them to put the prettiest part of the granite slabs on our peninsula which is the most visible part of the kitchen but instead, they installed the nicest parts under a dark corner in the kitchen that few people will see. They did a hack job on the granite seams as well; we told our contractor that we didn't want to accept the crappy job they did but in the end, we didn't have much choice.
The insult was that we had them come fix the granite seams which were coming apart after 2 years and they had the audacity to charge us $170.00. Our contractor paid the $170 (I think he should have pushed back and refused to pay them for correcting their crappy work) and they have continued sending us the bill, marked Past Due. I called Mesa yesterday to get the bill removed from our account since it had been paid; Marla answered and she exhibited poor customer service.
She had to check with accounting; no one seems to know what they are doing. But Marla is better than dealing with Leigh 3 years ago; she was downright rude every single time we went to look at granite at Mesa Tile & Stone. Never again!

Literally all I wanted to do was buy product from this company and pay the agreed upon $100 an hour rate to have them install their product. After emails, phone conversations and promises the product finally came in after 90 days. Of course I had to call in to see if it had arrived. The "flooring and tile" manager doesn't have basic customer service skills and in talking to the other staff they didn't want to argue that point all they could do is appolgize.
Then theirs the "installation" manager. Who promised an installation date of May 22. Two weeks later still have not heard from him. Unanswered emails, unresponded too messages it goes on and on and on. If you are looking for a tile and floor company you can do much better than this one. I was basically tied to them because they did the original installation on the property in which I needed the tiles from again.
The ownership of this company better enjoy present day when times are good. When economic conditions change and sales are not so easy to come by they are going to struggle with employees like these two as the face of their company Couple of the ladies were very helpful. If it wasn't for them the transaction never would have been completed in the first place. So sincerely thank you.

As a former employee, if you're looking for employment don't look here, constant drama and shitty working environment. The owner is a two faced asshole and the company is not going anywhere so don't expect to advance. If you're a consumer, they do fair work but they are overpriced for the quality of stone you get, they will hassle you if you are not happy with your product and want them to make it right.
