Fantastic lighting products and equally great customer service. We were doing a complete reno on two bath rooms and wanted some really nice upscale lights. We read the reviews (which are great and well deserved) and drove out to the showroom. Wow! The place is beautiful, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and we couldn't be happier. A+

I found an item I was looking for on their website, trying to avoid the hassle of shipping it and wanting to see the item in person, I figured I would just stop by the showroom. Their showroom is setup as some sort of consultant sales floor, not a normal big box store layout. A lady greeted me and I explained what I was looking for, she said they didn't have such an item. Showing it to her on my phone, she said oh that's not something we stock.
I asked what would happened if I placed an order, she said it would have to be shipped, they don't offer in store pickup. She was happy to show me some sort of new light fixture to sell me. Sure enough their site allowed me to place an order for the item I initially wanted with in store pickup so I did so. I get an email from the lady I spoke with stating she is happy to order it but there are no refunds.
Their website clearly states: "We are committed to maximum customer satisfaction! If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we invite you to return the item for a full refund or to exchange it for something else. While there are some exceptions, such as made-to-order items or products that have been installed, we allow customers to return products up to 30 days from the date of original purchase." Bottom line, this place doesn't want your business unless they make big bucks off you.
Their website displays a bunch of stuff they can drop ship from the manufacturer, not stuff they actually stock. To top it all off, they are shady about returns. Update: Allison, You didn't hear back from me because my business with you was done. I didn't want to confirm an order that was non returnable. I found the same item from a different supplier for less, with free shipping & ordered with them after your email.
The product DID in fact fit. my assumption that a 6" downlight is in fact 6" was right. Just because items are not from the exact same manufacturer doesn't define a yes or no compatibility. Part of the reason I wanted to see the item in store & put my hands on it. I could have done this with an in-store pickup and saved both us us time. I appreciate your gesture of shipping the items to my door. But as I mentioned my problem is solved and I will be shipping back the unopened box.

I wish I had read the yelp review regarding Will beforehand. If I wanted DYI treatment I would have gone to Home Depot. With a little assistance I would have spent about $3,000 at the store but now I am doing it myself and spending it at Lowes and Home Depot. Everything shipped to my front door. It's a classical case of poor customer service leading to big box store success. Still, I did see Mirko and Gloria helping their clients with excitement and energy. I wish I had the opportunity to work with them instead.

Visited the showroom at 5pm and staff was sitting around not willing to help us. We asked about a 3k chandelier and the salesman disappeared on us. We will order online with another company because of the lack of customer service. They have obviously clocked out before 6pm closure. I gave them one star because of the showroom only.

5 stars is NOT enough! I went into Dulles Electric not expecting to find a solution to my problem; I needed to replace the glass globe for an outdoor light fixture at my son's house, who is currently deployed to SWA. I didn't have any paperwork on the original fixture; just a picture of its intact companion fixture. Allison Heyman worked her magic and one of her crew reversed-image the picture and found the make and model fixture. Allison then called the manufacturer, and with the help of a regional sales rep, convinced the manufacturer to make an exception and sell me the globe separately from the entire fixture. To top it all off, she applied a military discount for my son. Allison and the people at Dulles are so very helpful and resourceful!

As a General Contractor I use them commercially. They're typically good, have most everything in stock, and there's always someone available to answer a technical question if i have one. I was there 2 days ago for the first time in awhile and one of the managers called out by name. I appreciate that. There are good lighting consultants too for large projects.

Geez what a waste of time. I'm building a house and needed to buy electrical fixtures throughout. I called and left a message with a woman for Bill (a designer). After a week I never received a call back so I left a message with the secretary. After 4 days I didn't hear back so I called again and got someone to transfer me to Bills voicemail. FINALLY I got a call back and scheduled an appointment. I'm not sure if Bill never received the messages I left with his colleagues or he just never returned the call.
Regardless it was frustrating. The day of my appointment, I drove 45 minutes there and the appointment last about 20 minutes. I had an idea of what I wanted in the foyer and he showed me one option. That was it. One option. Left very disappointed. Not only did I try for over 2 weeks to get an appointment but once I did it was a complete waste of time. I've had several appointments at lighting showrooms and all but this one were very productive this stands out from the others because it did not help what so ever. This is textbook poor customer service and I will be spending my money elsewhere.

Great veteran owned business. One of the best lighting showrooms that I've seen. They are technically a small business but they have the look of a business with 20 locations but the attitude and feel of a mom and pop. And that's a good thing! I used to work for a electrical distributor but now work for an electrical contractor. Take out from me you will have a good experience!

A full range of lighting items and electrical supplies here. Everything from thousands of dollars of sparkling crystal to bathroom lights, kitchen pendants and outdoor fixtures. This is a long term, local business in a very spacious showroom. Someone will be glad to answer questions or place an order for a non-stock fixture if you ask. Not many ceiling fans or table lamps when I was there. What I like about shopping here is that the staff is both knowledgeable and pleasant.

Review on supply: Ordered hard to find bulbs over the phone and picked up at will-call. Supplies reps. will take order and email receipt to you in no time. I've never had any issue speaking with them. Spoke with Kent and Chris who are polite, efficient, and friendly. I've never purchased anything in the show room but have walked through. They do have a huge assortment of lamps and lighting fixtures for all needs interior/exterior.

I am gradually replacing all the standard 1980's light fixtures in my home. My contractor recommended Dulles Electric. So today, a Saturday afternoon, I headed over. They have an amazing selection! I was pretty overwhelmed but within a few moments a sales associate found me. He listened closely to what I was looking for and hit the nail right on the head.
I was extremely pleased to find out that they had exactly what I wanted in stock and it took less than five minutes for it to be brought out and placed in my car. I will be a repeat customer for sure! Thank you Josh S. for a great first impression.

I was looking for a very specific electrical switch wall plate - one that would accommodate three light switches and one electrical outlet - in a brushed nickel finish. I had already struck out at Lowes, The Home Depot, and Dominion Electric, so when Dulles Electric was recommended, I called ahead. To my surprise and delight - the guy who I talked with on the phone stated they did indeed have that wall plate.
So I asked them to hold it and I headed over. They wanted $13 and change for the wall plate - which was considerable more affordable than a couple of places I had found on the internet that wanted $28 and $60 respectively for the same piece of hardware. Check out Dulles Electric for your electrical supply needs - they just might have what you need!

Extremely helpful staff member went the extra mile to help me locate a required part. I had previously been to several other shops with not much help of luck. Unlike most of the crybabies here, I will refrain from slamming the other companies because I have better things to do with my time. Very nice staff and I am happy I stopped by.
