Phil and his sons are very professional and knowledgeable! We have done a lot of work on our lot with creating garden beds and mulching areas. They are always nice and the last time we went they ran a tab because I had to go back so many times! I highly recommend them to anyone!

FYI this is what they call "top soil". It's just ground up clay that becomes hard packed and unworkable once wet. I was expecting brown dirt. Grass is very difficult to grow in it. Forget using it in a garden. Basically fill dirt. Very disappointing.

At first they were nice and cheaper. But now I have to spread 8 tons of rock in my driveway by hand. And its 2 toned. Doesn't match at all. The owner told me "we deliver and spread it for you." They "spread it" with the dump truck. This was a mistake and now I'm completely stressed and upset!

I have done business with Hill Sand & Gravel for about 30 years. They are a family ran business that always provides great customer service & products. The owner is Phil Hill and you won't find anyone any more honest or excited to help in anyway possible. Also their measurements of soils & mulch are much more liberal than their corporate competitors. I can't say enough good things about this family & company.
