PART 2 to 6.9.22 POST - 6.23.22 update- no contact has been attempted by Ideal Services who diagnosed the Rheem water heater with a faulty gas control valve. Water heater had not passed inspection, nor was the warranty called in from the April install. My husband called Rheem 2x had to register the water heater, and a gas control valve was mailed to our home in 1 day. 6.18.22 1st Plumbing Services "Carlos" came and installed gas control valve still was not staying lit.
After troubleshooting it - final diagnosis was a glass vial that protected the flame. Not the gas control valve or the ignitor. 6.23.22 City of North Las Vegas performed a Video inspection and the water installation failed. Ladies and Gents 6.1.22 to 6.18.22 we had no hot water! Do not do business with Ideal Services.

Dealing with Ideal Services Business Office has been the worst experience ever. I spoke with Ron, one of their customer services representatives and he argured with me the entire time. He talked over me, gave me sarcastic answers and excuses. We spent $9300 for a new AC unit which was installed on top of the roof. Being that it was brand new with a lifetime warranty we wanted to have a physical copy of the warranty. Welll the warranty is tapped to the side of the unit which is on top of the roof.yes they taped the warranty on the unit on top of the roof.
So I said fine, can you please have someone come out and get the warranty for us off of the roof. I was told no, that I would need to register it on line. Well how was I suppose to get the registration information if it was on the roof, and why am I just hearing that I was suppose to get the information if it was on the roof. Janine said she would send me the information for the warranty, the information that we received was unrecognizable to the warranty company.
This company has a lot to be desired when it comes to customer service. I would not recommend anyone to this company. Oh and by the way, if you intend on calling them be ready to wait 40 minutes before someone picks up the phone, or you may just get cut off after waiting 27 minutes.

The technician (Edwin P) was great! I am giving 5 stars on his service. He was super knowledgeable and efficient, but the scheduling department is a nightmare. I would wait on hold for 20 minutes only to have the call hang up. When I finally got a hold of somebody, they would contradict what the prior person said. I had to speak with multiple people to get my service scheduled.

Still not able to wrap my head around what happened with the service call I had with this company through American Home Shield. We were having trouble with our smoke detectors. One morning several of them went off at once. Of course, I called the fire department. They came out and told me that one or more of the devices were bad and when that happens more than one would go off.
My understanding was the detectors were interconnected so I was afraid to put them back in the ceiling. I thought this would be covered by the home warranty. The technician came over and without looking at anything said the warranty would not cover the detectors and he could not do anything since they were not in the ceiling. I tried to explain why they were taken out in the first place and I did not know they had to be in place when he came over.
If they were left in the ceiling, the sound would be blaring through the house. It is unreasonable to suggest we would leave them in like that with the siren going off. In any event, the 6 smoke detectors were on the table and I could have put them back in the ceiling pretty quickly (even quicker with his help) but I got the impression the technician was not interested in waiting for that.
In other words, the customer service was really lacking here, especially since the fee was $125.00 for not even 10 minutes of talking with the technician. Really very disappointed to say the least. First time I had a bad experience with a company American Home Shield sent out.

This provider was called by our home warranty company and I deeply regret it, I should have turned them away at the door. The plumber was not courteous and gave short responses to any question I asked and didn't really answer the question. He cut TWO big holes in the ceiling of my bathroom and was very aggressive with his razor knife, cutting way farther out into the paint than he needed to in order to get access.
He identified the problem: a leaking manifold, and then said the warranty company may not cover it. He did not clean up after himself and left the cut out drywall laying in my bathroom, and drywall dust all over the room. He said he was going out to the van to call the warranty company, but he never came back in to tell me that the warranty company would not cover it, he just left.
He did nothing to fix the leak or minimize the damage the leak was causing. I had to call the warranty company to find out the status. Lastly, he was rude to my small child who was curiously walking up to him and he thought no one was looking.

UNPROFESSIONAL, I was referred to this firm by my home warranty company. Yesterday after 30 minutes trying to set an appointment They said they would be out today and gave me a window of 11a-3pm. At 4 p.m. after no word from them I started calling the office after 40 minutes trying to get some resolve and being put on hold for 30 minutes then being hung up on, sent to voice mail and made to feel like they did not care about the customer i called back the warranty company who was put on hold for over 5 minutes and the lady at Ideal said there was no appointment at my address and it would be 2 days before they could schedule another appointment. the warranty company cancelled the work order and we have to try someone else. after loosing a days pay waiting for them now having to loose another days pay because of Ideal's incompetency. I will never use this company. AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU

I have a home warranty with old republic. They sent out Ideal services. The tech informed me that it was not warranty due to too many cables. he said the capacitor and compressor was out and that a new unit would be required. He said the wiring was all wrong etc. I asked for photos, he declined and said I would need them from the office. After not hearing from the office I called Old Republic and was connected to these people again.
The dispatcher Kalena said that Old Republic denied the claim based on photos. They would not give any documentation or explaination but she did forward photos. In the photos it showed a burnt contactor but nothing about compressor, fan, extra cables etc. I called Old Republic only to be informed that they did not reject the claim and hadn't reviewed it.
Old Republic was not much better as they had no way of sending another company. Our house was scorching hot, we are going into a weekend and we're completely out of luck. I called my contractor, he sent a technician. The relay was fried but all other components were good. These guys are either not interested in fixing things or incapable. I would never recomendation or suggest them.

Not exactly ideal! If I could give this company a -0 stars I totally would. This was the first company sent by my home warranty please be worn DO NOT go with this company. Even their owner is unprofessional when speaking to someone. I called my home warranty the referred me to the their team their, team came here with no tools nor equipment! I had a my property to catch some of the drip however their employee carved into my drywall and proceeded to use my property to gather all of the ceiling and dry wall.
He also had my boyfriend help which I'm my opinion is not professional and could have cause harm if there were sharp objects in the ceiling. He then left and said he'd call tomorrow. They took long to answer calls were always short and unfriendly during calls. This is my first home and I had just moved in (keep in mind I've seen 3 separate plumbing companies to asses the issue) all other business have been cordial extremely professional and gone above and beyond. NOT IDEAL SERVICES.

Our home warranty company called a different company out to check our unit. We had no AC for 2 days and the inside temp was peaking at 93. The guy said the entire unit needed to be replaced. Home Warranty reached out to Ideal Services for a 2nd opinion. They sent out MY MAN Edwin Pena to assess the situation. My dude had our air conditioner working in less than 15 minutes. If your air is out I hope Edwin is the one that knocks on your door. This man needs a raise!

I had other companies out to look at my water heater issues. Irwin from Ideal, listen all the problems that I was experiencing. He was very thorough and quickly diagnosed the issue. The service was excellent. That said, getting this company and my First American Home Owners insurance on the same page was a nightmare. Although I was assured by the insurance company that the job had been approved and giving me a work order for it, Ideal Services apparently would never find the work order or the emails from my insurance company.
It has been very frustrating. No hot water for12 days. The repair man who came was great though. Nice person and quality work. I've given them 5 stars because of the repairman. Not because of the office staff. One more thing, be ready to be put on hold for more than half an hour when you call.

Woke up one morning to a wet bathroom. I found the leaks and called my home warranty company to open a claim. They assigned the job to Ideal Services (IS). Ideal services contacted me promptly to set up a time to come diagnose the issues. Walter was friendly and professional and identified the issue quickly. At no fault of IS it took some time to get approval and then receive the parts.
Once all that was taken care of they called to schedule a time to complete the repairs. Walter returned this morning to repair my bathroom (warranty). While he was here the water softener dumped water everywhere - needless to say it was old and needed replaced. Walter returned this afternoon removed my old unit, replumbed and installed a new water softener in less than two hours. Not happy stuff keeps breaking but I'm happy it broke while a plumber was already in my house.

It was an easy and pleasant experience working with Ideal Services. Originally hired them for a water softener system, which Walter did an excellent job on, I also requested to have him install a Reverse Osmosis water filtration system and that is now a system I'll never live without. Then my AC unit was found to be completely rusted out. Three separate opinions later, (all came to the same conclusion) I needed a new system, and Edwin won the battle of prices and with the name Ideal Services behind him I knew I was in great hands. Edwin then not only replaced my system, but he also found multiple issues with my original system and made the changes to fix and improve the efficiency of it.

AHS warranty holder. They hooked us up with Ideal Services. They used to be a great company. Have not had them fix anything for quite awhile through them.well, things have changed. Ideal sent out Bill, late Bill that is.when he got here the 4 things we had to fix, he shot down every potential repair for various reasons-He was gone inside 10 minutes. I called AHS for a second opinion. They sent out Renegade electric. Ruben came. He repaired everything. A real gentleman as well.

Walter and Conner did a great job detecting 2 slab leaks that I had. The re-route was done in a couple of days and they worked with my insurance/home warranty company as well to help recoup most of the cost. Great experience with Nathan from Ideal services. He came out one day to fix some bad power outlets referred by my warranty company, and also scheduled to replace a dead light fixture the next day which was not covered under warranty. Professional and punctual, will use again in the future. Update: the only negative is the way credit card information was handled.
Full credit card number, expiration and cvv code was required to be written down on an authorization form and my credit card was almost immediately compromised with fraud. I only used the card for this service and a few days after chase stopped a fraudulent $650 purchase from target.com. Handing credit card information in this manner is not secure or PCI compliant.

We've used this company twice, once to replace our garbage disposal and once to fix some light fixtures. Both times they were extremely professional and right on time, with a heads up call before showing up. Nathan fixed our light fixtures and even took extra time to show us how to replace some of the weird light bulbs we have and gave us recommendations on upgrades that we could do ourselves. We really appreciated the extra time. Will definitely use this company again.

My service repair technician Willy was very friendly and professional, he identified that my garbage disposal had gone bad and was the cause of the leak under my sink. I thought that I would have to reschedule another service appointment after he ordered the part, but he had a new one in his truck and made the repair within 15 minutes. I'm very pleased with the service I received today and will be referring this company to all of my friends and family.

I had this service done on my AC unit under warranty for First American. I did not get a chance to preview this repair until a few months later. It is on the side of my house that I never go on. They replaced the fan motor and this is how they left my unit? When I called them to request they fix it properly they claimed there was nothing wrong with it? Bolts too long sticking up with the caps on the end is not the way it's supposed to look.
The wires sticking up exposed looks very poorly repaired. Exposed to the elements and all. Not sure how this repair was properly done? I'm sure a home inspector would fail this upon visual. When you look at my other units the bolts are flush against the top of the unit and the wires are tucked into a protective cover and safely tucked away from the fan blades.
It's very clear this was a lazy tech that didn't want to do the job properly. Is this how you want your equipment to look after their repair? The worst part is they don't care about their customers or their reputation so I want to let all of you know!

If I could give them a below zero rating I would. be aware of this company. They were sent from our home warranty because our toilet tank cracked and flooded the house. The guy who came states that our warranty wouldn't cover it but we have a premium plan and it would have been covered. He then wrote on the report that we physically damaged the tank so they would not pay for it. He then proposed that we could buy a new toilet somewhere and he could install it for 85$ It's beyond believable what they are doing to make money.

I had a couple of plumbing issues centered around both toilets within my condo. I have a home warranty company and they assigned my job to Ideal Services. I called them to set up an appointment and spoke to a very friendly, yet professional woman. I told her I was hoping I could get someone out the following day and she said "of course." Abel from ideal Services arrived the next morning.

We had been experiencing intermittent troubles with our hot water. Another plumber came the day before and stayed about 7 minutes and said nothing was wrong. We called Ideal and they sent someone out that night. Dwayne was our service person and he listened and spent time diagnosing the problem. He came back Sunday and installed our new water heater. He was efficient, knowledgeable and prompt. I would definitely recommend him and this company. Thanks, Dwayne, and we LOVE the hot water!

Ideal Services sent their professional and knowledgeable technician, Victor to rescue us on a Sunday! Their response time was rapid and Victor arrived within one hour of calling. He repaired our clogged plumbing quickly and was able to explain proper care and maintenance of our home's drainage system. Victor's advice, quick and efficient repair work, and his professionalism made this terrible issue so much easier to handle. If you have any fixtures that needs replacing in your home this is the BEST company to call. The installer Nate was very helpful reviewing our current needs. The company also gave us a very good estimate for the electrical labor needed to complete the job. There was no hassle/delay setting up the appointment and completing the work. Nate was also the installer for our project.

Love Ideal Services! This is the second time they have come out for me. They're contracted with my Home Warranty and I couldn't be happier with their work. First time was for my broken garbage disposal. They installed a new one, the technician was nice, quick, and it's been working like a dream ever since. Today I needed them to come out to fix a leak in my garage and they sent Miguel! Miguel is the best! He's very nice, polite, he wore a mask, he took care of the leak, replaced the broken parts, and even gave me an estimate for having my kitchen faucet replaced (not covered by my warranty). I'm definitely asking for Miguel when I make my faucet appointment! :-) Ideal Services, if you see this, MIGUEL IS AWESOME!
