I saw the Fence Masters ad in The Home Mag. I called them for an estimate and someone came out, we spent 20 minutes discussing my fence needs and details of the job. I noticed he did not bother to measure the existing fence but figured he knew what he was doing. He said he would email an estimate within a few days. Instead I got an email declining to provide an estimate because he didn't feel Fence Masters "is a good fit for you".

No further explanation as to why they didn't even want to quote the job. What does that even mean and why waste our time? We received other bids and will spend our $10k with one of their competitors.

Spent $17,000 on a fence that doesn't shut properly. We have called and left several messages and sent several text and emails with absolutely NO RESPONSE! We have called several times and tried to give them a chance to make it right but all we ever get is an answering service that says they will take a message. This company definitely isn't what they appeared to be from the beginning when we first had them come out to give us a quote. If you're considering this company to have work done, I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST USING SOMEONE ELSE!

Andrew, of Fence Masters, was very forthright and honest. He said it would be about 3-3 1/2 weeks before they could remove and replace my fence. Three weeks later, I have a beautiful new western cedar fence. This is the 4th or 5th fence I've bought in my lifetime, and it's the best of all fences I've had installed. The quality is simply the best obtainable: 7/8 grade I western cedar shipped straight from British Columbia. Yes, Fence Masters wasn't the lowest bid fence, nor was it the highest.

But they showed me the desire for the contract and gave me a very fair final price to win the contract, which is why they got my business. If you're willing to pay a small amount more money for a fence which could easily last 20 years (versus 5-10 years for the lesser quality material), I truly believe it's money well spent. I'm sure glad that I did!

Would not follow up after promising to fix our wavy fence. Would be a simple fix. Good salesmen; terrible customer service with numerous excuses.

We replaced our chain link fence with a cedar privacy fence from Fence Masters and couldn't be happier. The quality is outstanding. The boards are thick, wide and have no gaps. We had two gates installed: a walk through and drive through. Both are constructed well with bracing to prevent sagging and there is no hardware visible from the outside, which gives the entire fence a very clean look. Even the inside of the fence, which faces our backyard, is beautiful. Great experience from start to finish!

Fence Masters builds a great, sturdy fence using 1/2 thick cedar planks. They showed up on schedule and completed on schedule. I really liked that Coleman and his crew would keep me up-to-date on any little install issues, and ask what I wanted. I now have a 20 year fence and it looks great! Service: Wood fence

Had a great experience with Fence Masters. Unlike many construction/fence/contractor type companies, the showed up when they said they would, did exactly what they said they would do and for the price they said they would do it for. While you may think (isn't that what you are supposed to do?), most companies I have dealt with in the past do not do any of those things.

I couldn't be happier! If I has to think of one thing I wish were different, it would have nothing to do with Fence Masters, but with who they recommend for sealing/staining the fence. Apparently the person they recommend would have charged me $450 to seal 75' of fence (with me providing the sealer/stain). Based on my estimate, it would take absolutely no more than 2 hours to do this job, for an average of $225 an hour.

I'm not saying that fence stainers don't deserve top dollar for the wonderful job they do, but come on now, rocket scientist, literarily, do not make $225 an hour. I guess I am in the wrong business. But I digress. Fence Masters are A+ in my book!

Benttree hoa chose fencemasters over two other bids based on the materials and installer our board interviewed. fencemasters was not the lowest bid. First thing out of the box, they charged extra to yrim back shrubs. (they didn't see this when they bid the job?) then they suffered delays in tear down and reinstall. mind you, this is a fence between a condominium community and several private homes. when the fence wss ginally complete after a two week rather than two day job, it was crooked and wavy. it took weeks to get a response and a repair. lots of excuses regarding illness. within a few months, huge panels fell completely away from posts. again, excuses. we have paid hundreds to fix this fence because they do not honor the warranty. stay away from these duds at all costs!

Excellent service and an excellent product. I was able to arrange everything very quickly and the team was very flexible with me and other tradespeople that were working on the property at the same time. I even had them come back to install a gate! They take cards and made everything really easy for me.

No professionalism! This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The fence constuction is poor quality and looks like crap. They installed 1x6 boards that were prebuilt off site panels and they called this board on board. They did not use screws they only used nails to hold the boards and the nails easily allow the boards to pop right off. (They do this so the fence will not last as long for our high winds in Oklahoma and they get to come back out to repair it later so they can make more money.) The boards were cracked and rotted in spots look at the photos.

Do not use this company. The owner and a worker came out to look at my issues and they called me a asshole because I showed them the boards just pop off. But who calls the customer names? Then he said well I can do that to my other fence so he went grabbed my old fence and broke the top of the ear off but it stayed attached because it is screwed in and not nailed like his new fence.

The fence wobbles like crazy. The 2x4s have gaps in it making it so water will collect on top. They installed little slivers of wood everywhere all because they don't know how to build a fence. They didn't even clean up the concrete chunks. Lots of cracked boards and uneven bottom boards leaving a big gap underneath it. Please look at the photos.

They did a great job! The new owner is a great person. He understands the true meaning of customer service. I had a very bad experience with the other owner. This guy made it right! Thank you so much Andrew.

We all know that good reliable contractors are very hard to find. When I hired Lynn Hicks with Fence Masters, I found that reliable contractor. He personally oversees all the work, supplies only top notch prime grade Red Cedar, and he completes the job on schedule. He has completed two jobs for me and I would absolutely recommend Fence Masters to anyone looking for high quality materials and workmanship.

As always Lynn is a pleasure to work with. Very honest, professional, and his company's work is second to none! Bobby and his crew built our 8ft cedar fence and the quality and workmanship is excellent. They had built our iron (driveway) gate in the past and I returned back to Fencemasters for our next project.

It has been my pleasure to be a customer of Fence Masters for several years now. A short time after we bought our home in Mustang, the Eastern side fence started to sag. Lynn answered my phone call and came out for a free look and estimate, quickly winning me over with his warm smile and no nonsense approach. Though it was a smaller job for them, they handled it from start to finish with excellent service and care, ensuring that the old fence was removed properly and the yard properly cleaned once the new fence was installed.

The quality of the fence was exceptional, even my neighbor that helped fund the installation was impressed! A couple of years went by and the north fence did the same thing and out came Lynn and Fence Masters to the rescue, continuing their exceptional service and quality workmanship as before. I was even more impressed on this call as they didn't take us for granted as a repeat customer, even doing a repair on our gate that had nothing to do with anything they did or did not do prior, at no charge.

And once more, just recently, for the west side. 3 sides, three different times, same exceptional service. Too bad that this last occasion sees us moving out of this house to larger accommodations further out, but I do know one thing. Wherever I land here in the OKC area, Lynn and Fence Masters will be the only call I make for fence work. For the price, quality and service. nobody else is worth the look.

I started working with Lynn November of last year and have been so happy I got hooked up with Lynn. He takes care of us! He pays on time and often in advance which you never hear of in our industry. I promise Fence Masters will build you a high quality fence at a fair price.

I have used Fence Masters exclusively for several years. They do great work and use the best materials. I am especially pleased with the E-Z Brace they use on their gate doors. I have never had a gate sag and have never even had to adjust one. Lynn Hicks, the owner, personally inspects all of his installations to ensure quality. You will not be sorry you used Fence Masters.

I was referred to Fencemasters by our neighbor group. I called Lynn Hicks and he responded quickly. He came by and looked at what I had and needed. He was very nice and professional. I showed him a picture that was on his website that I really liked. He told me he didn't know who put that on there because he no longer did lattice work. So I told him that I was 5'5 and I wanted to be able to see over the fence plus I wanted my dogs to be able to look between the fence and the gate.

He said the guys would pick up the old fence and haul it off. To make it short the posts were way over my head and can't see out, no caps for the top, pieces of my old wood was everywhere including my neighbors yard, did not remove the 3 bolts out of my red brick that was part of the old fence, asked him to make it 4-6 feet out but he moved only 2 feet out. It's been a month now and the bolts are still there but he kept telling me he would send the guys out but haven't seen them.

I was not a happy camper so I wasn't very nice when I called and left a message. I also told him in a message that my gate will not latch. I called the main office twice today and he just won't return my calls. Now I'm going to have to hire someone else to fix it the way I originally wanted. The only reason I chose him among the other two quotes is because he was licensed and bonded. I will never hire this company again.

This company is run just the way a small business should be.honest, high quality workmanship, and good communicators. After having two other companies out for estimates, Fence Masters was by far the most professional and took the most time to listen to me, the customer. They said things I wanted to have done on my job were possible when other companies said they were impossible to do.

They always communicated well and the owner (Lynn Hicks-20 years exp.) came to the job site both days they worked to complete my fence to make sure things were being done well. They do cost more than many others, but their product and workmanship I feel is better and will last me longer, therefore ultimately being less expensive over time. They are an excellent fence company--make sure to include them in your list of prospective fence companies and let them come out and give you an estimate. Jeremy came out and did ours, he was great.
