Established in 1961 by Ken Monnin, Dayton Door Sales has grown from its modest beginnings to become the region's most recognized door experts. Ken molded Dayton Door Sales into arguably one of the most professional door companies in the industry, culminating with his Presidency of the national industry association, The Door & Operator Dealer's Association (DODA), in 1990.
The International Door Association's primary mission is to provide programs and services to door and access systems dealers, for the express purpose of enhancing their value and professionalism. As a member of the IDA, we strictly adhere to the organization's professional code of conduct. Dayton Door Sales is proud to be the recipient of the 2018 Joseph Caputo Dealer of the Year Award.
We want to make sure our customers are kept properly informed for the best possible safety and maintenance of their garage door system. Safety is everyone's business. There are routine safety and maintenance steps that you should follow once a month. Review your owner's manual for the door opener. If you do not have an owner's manual, look for the opener model number on the back of the power unit and request a manual from the manufacturer. Make sure your opener has a reversing feature. If a reversing feature is not present, the opener should be replaced.

Woke one morning to a broken torsion spring. Called another business first. They had no techs available until next day. Called Dayton Door Sales Springboro. They sent Patrick out who arrived mid-afternoon, after calling 30 minutes ahead as previously agreed. He was fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional, very experienced. Though I had never had this service done before, the price to replace both springs seemed very reasonable. I would use them again without hesitation.

Sometime in May 2018 I had an issue with my old garage door and opener. Precision sent Jeff Hollon out to examen it. The old wooden heavy door from 1970 needed to be replaced but I didn't want to spend the money at that time. Jeff did what he could to prolong the inevitable. Jeff was a non pressure guy and I felt he was honest. I kept his card and knew he would be the one I wanted to deal with.
Today was the day to get a new door and Jeff Hollon came back out. He was fast and clean! No trash for me to pick up that was a plus. I was very comfortable with Jeff and felt safe to leave him here alone if need be. We need more sales technicians like Jeff out in the home improvement industry. The garage door looks great and my curb appeal just went up.
The price was reasonable and the service was top notch. I would recommend calling Precision in Dayton and asking for Jeff Hollon he is an honest guy. FYI I didn't know Jeff until Presision sent him out. Good job!

The service guy from Dayton Door Sales provided excellent service. I know that when I call them, the job will be done right the 1st time and I don't need to worry about them replacing things that aren't broken. I cannot say the same about another door company that came to my home a couple of years ago. I will only use Dayton Door Sales for my garage door repairs.
