The organization was started in 1948 by W.W. Rester as a commercial air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration service company operating under the name of Rester Refrigeration Service. Since that time the company has done work in all areas including commercial, industrial, governmental, academic and medical environments. In 1991 the New Orleans division, i.e. Rester Air Conditioning & Heating Inc. was sold to Gil Watson, who after re-capitalizing the company absorbed the former parent company's operations.
