If you're building a new house or rehabbing your existing home and haven't started construction, we can easily work with your architectural drawings to complete the consultation process. Please note: Design consultations can take anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour depending on the size and number of closets.
The window treatment process is simple! First, contact Perfection and ask about window treatments; Erin will return your inquiry via email or phone call. Erin will then schedule a mutually convenient time for an in-home consultation, to which she'll bring samples, make suggestions and take measurements to provide a personalized proposal.

Try to extract more money. Be careful. He told me that he is doing business just to make money. Very deceptive. Talk to much. To provide good customer service first try and listen to your customer and understand their problem. I will never like to business with such people. Stay away from Perfection Countertops.

Working with Carol and Steve was an absolute joy! My new kitchen countertops look amazing and I am so happy with the result. This was my first time buying new countertops and Carol walked me through every step of the process. Everything was explained to very thoroughly, and they really worked hard to get me everything i wanted within my budget for the project. If you're looking for countertops, give them a call!

I rarely write reviews and this one is a must, due to my complete satisfaction. A profound shout out to Perfection Custom Closets! Perfection customer service and their attention/commitment to quality is first rate! They are a brand that has a long lasting dependable service, regardless of where you are living in the Chicagoland area. Years ago our closets were designed and installed by Perfection.
Recently we required a closet redesign and Perfection was wonderfully accommodating and recommended cost saving options. In our reacquaintance, I learned of the expansion of the Perfection product line and moved forward with an estimate, purchase and installation of window treatments. Especially in light of today's current events, all aspects of this experience have been a delight. Lynn (closets) and Erin (window treatments) are wonderful representatives of excellence and the Perfection Custom Closets name. Thank you Perfection, Lynn, Erin and some pretty efficient and courteous, health safety installers!

Our new master bedroom closet was a game changer for us. The design is both beautiful and practical and fulfills all our needs. The installation team was met with many challenges and had to navigate and problem-solve the varying wall/ceiling heights of a 100-year-old house. The craftsmanship was truly impressive. We were very grateful for the time and attention they devoted to custom cutting the ceiling molding.section by section! This was the best gift that we gave to ourselves in 2020. I wish we had done it years ago. Thank you to the Lynn for the design work and making our dream closet a reality.

Horrible customer service. We are currently renting and our landlord hired this company for the closets and blinds. My landlord gave me the contact person for the installation of the closets to be sure we were connected and could work out the installation date. I was told July 6, but that it may be sooner and that Eric would be in touch to let us know.
He did not contact me, so I reached out to him. He never returned my call, so I sent him a text. He claimed "I just saw the voicemail after you sent the text." I asked him if there was a possibility to move up the closet installation date. He responded a day later that he would check. I never heard back. A day or so later I texted him again and he said he contacted central scheduling and they take care of it and should have contacted me.
I told him they didn't. I asked for their number and he said he would provide it. I never heard back from him. He then sent me a text saying with the holiday it's best to keep the July 6 install date. I never heard anything more until the installers called me the morning of the installation. That was the best part. They were a half hour early, friendly and took their shoes off during the installation, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. Unfortunately, I am experiencing the same type of customer service with scheduling the blinds.
I send an email and have not heard back. I called the company's main phone number the next day and the office receptionist was rude. I also sent another email and am waiting a reply from Erin. If we decide to install closets or blinds in a future home, we will not use this company.

I give Perfection Closets a 5+ for cost and installment. However, hiccups in customer service reminded me of the old adage: "You get what you pay for." And good product came with some pretty sub-par customer service. I came as a referral from a friend who had a great consultation/design experience with Nicole, an efficient install and the same low price that was less than half of what high end competitors were going to charge for the same work.
The down side was that, after I left an initial voice mail with the company, nobody called me back until almost a week later when a designer called to set the consultation appointment. Jake came by a day or two later and drew up plans that were delivered in a few more days. Two rounds of slight adjustments (shelf height etc) took up to a week for turnaround each time.
But I was still very pleased with the end product, including a very odd master closet that came out as a more functional use of space than I could have imagined. I wasn't pleased with the month wait for the install, but I assume the high-end competitors can take longer than that to do the actual install. Installation by Orlando was excellent.
He had all of his supplies and navigated all the stipulations my high rise had on parking, loading etc. However, one of my five closets couldn't be installed as the warehouse didn't cut the two wire shelves to specs. They actually didn't cut the standard wire shelving at all. That has required another delay -- two weeks of no word from Perfection Closets on a reschedule until i had an installer call me at 8:20 a.m. on a Wednesday (June 6) to see if he could drop by that morning.
No notice. And of course, I was at work. I reached out to the designer and had an install properly scheduled now through installation manager Jimmy. We'll see how those last two wire shelves go. June 8 update: Two wire shelve are not installed. Jimmy set a 10(ish) morning appointment. I stayed home from work. After no installer by 11 a.m., I went to work.
About 20 minutes later, I had a voice mail from the installer that he had car issues that morning but could still come by. By the time I picked up that voice mail at noon, I was already at work. Voice mails to the installer (12:10 p.m. and 1:40 p.m.) to set an afternoon appointment so far have not been returned. Maybe three stars is too generous?!

Learned Perfection has expanded into window treatments and I needed a very specific solution for my new art gallery. Erin was here within 24 hours and discussed all the options in really clear and comprehensive language. The super-polite and professional crew came yesterday and they are PERFECT. So happy.

Nicole was recommended to us by our realtor. The closets in our new place were those plain wire shelves you can get a any big box store and did nothing to maximize either closet. I was hesitant to pay someone to design and build out our closets; I've done a few Container Store closet design and builds for my mom and was prepared to go that route. I'm glad I listened to the manfriend and had Nicole from Perfection Closets come out and quote. Here's why: 1) We were just too busy with our move to deal with closets.
Our closet install was a week after we moved in and we kept our clothes in boxes while we waited. Had we done it ourselves, we'd still be fishing clothes out of boxes. 2) Nicole was quick and efficient. She asked us questions about how we liked to store our clothes, gave us her thoughts and a few days later we had mockups and an estimate. 3) It's was more reasonable than I was expecting.
I have a feeling we would have spent about the same amount had we gone to the Container Store and still would've had to cart it all home and do our own installation. 4) Installation was easy. The guy came, he installed, he cleaned up. All we had to do was put away our clothes. Our closets looked so nice and we are very happy with them. We've already referred them to one of our friends.

We had two odd-shaped closet spaces and office we'd put off getting designed and built out for several years due to cost concerns, life, etc. Had a smooth and easy interaction with Brad (sales/designer). He was flexible, responsive and accommodating to our design requests. Overall cost was also slightly less than I'd anticipated it would be.
Within a month after initial discussions and design exchange, our closets and office were installed. The installers (Jeremy and Chris?) were true professionals and completed all 3 spaces within 1 work day. They were quick, precise and transparent (a few items were wrong or missing and they communicated what the hiccups were and had runners bring the items out right away).
We moved into this home 3 years ago and have had all kinds of experiences with home repair/improvement. The Good, bad and the dicey. Thankfully, Perfection was in the Very Good category. a pleasure to do business with. Highly recommend.

Took them over 3 months to finish the closet job completely.still waiting on them to deliver a bench cushion.calling the designer Carrie every week without any response back.made the full payment back in November 2016 & still having to beg them for the job to be finished. Contacted them after seeing all this good reviews but really disappointed.

We worked with Perfection Closets to install shelving in a few closets of our new home. Our home is a new construction so we had an open slate but also knew that we wanted to go with a top of the line quality and design. We solicited bids from all of the usual players (Closet Works, California Closets, etc.). At the end of the day we went with Perfection Closets for many reasons but here's some of the biggest: 1) Price: they were the most affordable and worked within our budget 2) Quality: their shelving material and color selection were second to none 3) Design: we needed our large master, nursery and kitchen pantry closets organized so we obviously had very different needs for each space. Carrie was our designer and she was extremely attentive to our needs (and wants) and came up with the perfect design for each space.
She was also very friendly and super easy to get a hold of whenever we had a question. 4) Timing: they were able to install within 10 days which was almost 4 weeks sooner than any of their competitors. We loved working with Carrie and whole Perfection Closets team! We'd strongly recommend them and plan on using them again for the rest of our projects!

I wanted to love Perfection Closets - and ultimately, we are happy with the end result. But it was a long road to get here. And along the way, it felt as though no one truly cared about ensuring things were made right or fixed quickly. It was a really disappointing feeling and we felt really stuck with not much care or concern coming from Perfection Closets.
We had multiple issues with the installation - the day changed after being confirmed for 2 weeks (we were told the day beforehand - any only when we had followed up to confirm. We had also taken the following day off from work to ensure we were home for the installation). Next, there were supplies that suddenly weren't in stock, then they suggested we change our wood finish we had selected in order to get the project done faster. An entire section that was installed was incorrect the first time around- not what was in the approved drawings by our designer.
There were chips throughout all 3 closets/storage spaces upon installation. There were loose screws and sections of a panel that were coming off of the wall, which made us doubt the security of the closet to the wall. When we brought these issues concerns up to our designer as well as the owner, Tim - we a.) received zero response from Tim (still have not heard from him) and b.) received a bit of a lack-luster response from our designer.
She simply stated that things would be fixed - no apology, no sense of urgency as to when, etc. We had to follow up with her multiple times in order to move things along. We had the installers back out 2 more times in order to fully complete the job correctly (still more chips, a banged up tension rod installed, no cabinet doors, etc.). Overall, we are very happy with the end result - but it was a bit of a rocky road to get to the final product. Closets are not cheap and I wish I felt like Perfection Closets had cared more about doing a quality job the first time around, or at the very least, making things right as soon as possible. I'm sorry to say that we didn't feel valued as customers in our interactions with Perfection Closets.

I'm REALLY happy with my closets. I had four closets customized (new construction) and they nailed it! And I'm even happier with the price I paid. Worked with a rep, Nicole S, who was all over it. She got measurements done immediately. She is one of these people who just get things done and doesn't miss a detail. The installers were great. Professional, polite and focused on quality.

We recently built a home in Wilmette, and leveraged the company our builder uses on most jobs: Perfection Closets. Our builder for the most part had great partners/sub-contractors, so we figured Perfection would be no different - however we were wrong - they were the best of all of his sub-contractors. Our experience with Lynn Ritz on the closet side was so amazing that we decided to hire Perfection Closets for both their Windows and Blinds department, which while fairly new and untested, was run by the equally awesome Erin Moreland.
The best part of combining your closet purchase with your windows and blind purchase? SAVINGS + Service. Lynn is of the nicest people I've ever met - she also has an amazing eye for design. Literally one of the only people we worked with that could take what we said conceptually and put it down on paper/AutoCad EXACTLY the way we visualized it.so when it was installed, it was all perfect.
She didn't have to be as nice to us as she was, b/c Perfection Closet already had the contract with our builder - but she made it clear she worked for us, would design whatever we liked, and changed things over and over without complaint. Simply amazing. Erin is also exceptional. From the day she showed up to bid on the job, to following-up with samples, walking us through options, to installation (and maintenance - more below) - she's been perfect to deal with.
She also worked hard to cut prices where we could, which was really appreciated. Our job was a very large job, and we had originally been scheduled to install all her blinds on a Monday, so her top installer could come.however, as with most things in new builds, the painting wasn't done, so we couldn't do it on the scheduled day (he only works Mondays I believe for Perfection). So.she changes all her other installations around, so we could get the best Perfection has to offer.
She didn't have to do this, yet she did b/c she was representing a new division of Perfection and she cared about our house, personally. SOOOO refreshing in a day where people just look at your HOME as a "job." NOT with Perfection, Not with Erin and Lynn.they see it as an extension of themselves. It was sooo appreciated. We've had some issues with our blinds to be honest (Good ole' Hunter Douglas), including wrong sizes, missing pieces, and most frustrating bad motors on the automated blinds.but Erin has ALWAYS responded to us within 24 hours of emailing her and typically sent someone out within 48 hours to fix or replace things (no charge) Can't say enough about combining your closets and blinds with these guys. You will get the best customer service, the best designs, and arguably the most competitive pricing.

This review is way overdue. Our designer was Nicole. She is top notch. We had her install all off our closets along with designing a free standing storage unit for our basement. She took measurements and listened to what we wanted. Her designs we fantastic. There was a hiccup with the glass for the storage unit, but Nicole took care of the issue promptly.
She apologized and made things right. Response time is key in my book. I then damaged a shelf and I reached out to her for a replacement piece. Again quick response time and I had the replacement piece in about a week. They design more than closets. You dream it and she will build it. Please check them out and ask for Nicole Slattery. She is a ROCKSTAR in our book.

The real deal Holyfield! I recently relocated to a vintage spot with essentially no closet space. Admittedly, I needed to purge my inventory but even after it was done I knew I had to create more space in our place without it looking like a true do it yourself project. We started our project by researching companies and getting comparable estimates.
I called to request an estimate and received a call back from Brad Pence. I was initially discouraged by the length of time it took to get an appointment, but later came to realize their work was well worth the wait. Brad came by and looked at the space where we desired to have a closet built and said he had a great idea in mind. We were excited but suspected "great idea" would translate to too expensive. Surprisingly, Perfection Closets provided the best design to suit our needs, a design that fully maximized use of the space AND offered the most competitive price without question. Now that the work is complete, I am on cloud 9. It is more beautiful than we expected and I have so much space now that it only makes sense to fill it up. Yes!

This review is long overdue! My husband and I needed to get our closets reorganized in our condo for two bedrooms in Chicago, IL. We received quotes from multiple closet organization companies but Perfection Closets turned out to be the most competitive in price and easiest to work with. We worked with Brad on our closets. Brad showed up to the appointment exactly on time and was very professional throughout the process. Brad always responded to all of our inquiries timely and listened to exactly everything we needed in our closet design.
The installers were also very quick and professional as well. It was great to see that we were able to get our closets installed right away without a long wait like other companies. We will definitely be contacting Perfection Closets again in the future for all of our closet needs.

It's probably pretty obvious by the # of boutique reviews I've yelped about. I love to shop. And my love of shopping results in A LOT of clothing, shoes, purses, etc. Fortunately, our new condo has plenty of closet space to keep my shopping habit healthy. However, all the closets were just big open spaces with one hanging rod.no shelves, no drawers, etc.
If we kept it like this I had a feeling we were going to end up with a lot of purses, clothes, shoes, etc on the floor. Well, at least my husband's clothes and shoes after all my stuff took over the closet. :) I asked around about closets and everyone told me California closets were extremely expensive and to check out elfa at the container store.
I checked out elfa and thought it could be a good option, but when I priced it out it was going to cost me a few thousand dollars and didn't look nearly has pretty as the closets I had seen at California closets. Then our Realtor suggested we check out Perfection Closets who had done some work for some of her previous clients. She claimed they were not only very good, but affordable too!
I placed a call and they had Brad, a closet designer, out at my new place within days. Brad asked me what our needs were and did a bunch of measuring in our master closet. And he also showed me a few examples of closets they'd done in the past- he even pointed out Vince Vaughn's closet and being a lover of US Weekly I was excited. Hey, if it's good enough for Vince.it's good enough for us.
While Brad was there I decided to show him our ginormous storage room (over 200 sq ft) that's attached to the 3rd bedroom in our condo. Brad got really excited over the room and minutes later I was convinced to build this out as well. A week later I had 2 designs from Brad- one for the master bedroom closet and one for the storage unit. It was pretty much exactly what we wanted, but we did some tweaking to the designs (added a built in hamper to the master bedroom closet, upgraded to the dark cherry wood, and added some cabinets to the storage closet).
And I found the price to be reasonable because each closet was only a few hundred dollars more than what I had priced out for elfa at the container store yet looked like it cost thousands more. We scheduled a day for 2 guys to come build the closets. I thought it would take way more than a day, but they were done within 6 hours. And the finished product was just "perfect"; my husband and I were oohing and aaahing over both closets.
The dark cherry wood was just beautiful in the master closet and they even added in all these little hooks that are so useful! Brad thought of everything! And now that I'm moving all our crap in I'm so happy we have those extra hanging areas and cabinets in the storage room. Especially after receiving so many wedding presents within the past few months! Thanks to Perfection Closets for offering a perfect solution to make our lives more organized!
