Please note there is 30% surcharge which cannot be removed ^^ I do not know what's it for still. I lost money, because they quoted me without telling me there is going to be 30% surcharge. Also, poor customer service. never reply back to your email if it is not the order or quote (order confirmaion and quotes takes about 2 days). You have to call their office and make sure you get their name. The lead time they give you is never correct. I didn't even received the dates for my order, they randomly called me today and dropped it off.

Do not buy these products. They purposefully do not place product information on their products (model numbers etc.) so when you need to replace these products it is quote from their sales person "process of elimination to ensure you don't buy the wrong product". Needed to replace a wardrobe door and ended up having to order a different door three times as part of the "elimination process" before finally getting the right door. Had to go back and forth with a wardrobe door 3 times because they charge $220 for delivery and live 2.4 miles away from their location. One of the worst customer experiences you will ever endure.

I had pick up from them.so, first they mixed my 2 stops, then they load me over weight 5k lb and on BOL says 40k lb so 10k more that what they say and now on my first stop (which originally should be last) I have problem and I'm waiting 4hrs to someone solve problem (time zone difference) I lost 2 days because of them. Never ever again. Two stars is only because people work there, come nice and handy

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! MY COMPANY ORDERED 80 VANITY MIRRORS FROM CONTRACTORS ONLY FOR THEM TO SHOW UP 2 WEEKS LATE, POORLY PACKAGED AND MORE THAN HALF BROKEN AND MIRRORS BACK ORDERED ON TOP OF THAT! THEY ARE NOW 3 WEEKS BEHIND AND NO ONE CAN GIVE ME AN ANSWER ON WHEN OR IF WE WILL GET THE REMAINDER OF THE MIRRORS IF YOU CAN GET ANYONE ON THE PHONE AT ALL, WHEN YOU DO GET THEM ON THE PHONE NO BODY CAN ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS. IF I COULD GIVE LESS THAN A STAR I WOULD. THEY ARE COSTING MY COMPANY A LOT OF MONEY AND IT SEEMS LIKE THEY COULD CARE LESS.

I ordered CW closet doors through a local distributor over 2 months ago and they were supposed to be delivered to me on 9/17. This date was confirmed by the company that sold me the doors after they had confirmed with CW. Too good to be true. Then they apparently had a delay so the new date would be October 5. Then it became October 11. Then it was indefinite.
After diligent follow up by the company who sold me the doors, the new date was November 5. My salesperson even followed up days leading up to November 5 and CW reported no change to this date. Today is November 5 and come to find out, CW did not have my doors on their delivery truck and they provided no information as to when my doors would arrive. Horrible, horrible, horrible.
Why don't you just be more up front with realistic delivery dates? Had you been honest from the beginning you would have given realistic expectations to your customers. But no. You have strung along me and the seller with consistent broken promises. Your word is your bond, CW and you have failed miserably. According to my seller, I am not the only one you have screwed over lately.

Very poor experience so far. Ordered two closet doors through home depot. We received both doors, but only one track? And the track we did receive is an inch longer than the doors it is supposed to fit and won't fit in the closet enclosure without being cut. Well, I don't have a metal saw so I can't install this door. I've purchased many closet doors in my life and never had the track be longer than the door or opening.
I called Home Depot who called these guys and were told that they always ship tracks that are longer than the door. This sounds ridiculous to me. I'm still waiting for the other track which I can supposedly call next Tuesday to get a "tracking number", meaning, I probably won't get my track until a few weeks after the doors. Last time I do business with this company and Home Deport. Exceptionally poor experience.
I am seeking a way to return all of the products for a refund once the missing track appears. UPDATE: Here we are, over a month and a half since I ordered the doors, and I STILL DON'T HAVE THE TRACK TO MY 72' door. I have been flat out lied to, told they were shipped, only to find out nothing has been sent. I have been told they were on their way over three times and they never never showed up.
I was told today that Keona, the person who promised Home Depot last week that my order would be delivered to my house last Friday, did not include my address or phone number on the shipping log which is why they couldn't deliver. Either that is another very ridiculous lie, or Keona should not be working in this kind of position given that a shipping address would seem like a pretty obvious thing that would be needed for a delivery, no? My god, this company is a joke@!

I purchased a shower doors in 2006. They have been very good and durable. Wear and tear had cracked some washers for the knobs and yellowed some plastic door bumpers. When I contacted CW to purchase some replacement parts. CW took my information, made sure it was what I had and needed, then sent - AT NO CHARGE, even after 14 years of use - a hardware kit that had knobs and parts with new new designs. They make the shower doors look even better.

We recently purchased closets doors from CW Contractors Wardrobe, and they are so POORLY manufactured, we could not believe it! It looks like poor measuring! Then on top of that the packing was SURE POOR, the doors had many scratches all over the frames. The paint was worn off of the frame. Very disappointing! I had the frames repainted. I have had one conversation with the sales manager, VAN, he made several promises.
One was refund some of our purchase price; he said he would get back with us. I have called him several times with no response. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I have tried to contact the Sales Manager, Van, several times and he he refuses to call me back. He made several promises and will not follow thru. I love there slogan, "We set the standard", well they set the bar pretty LOW! the quality, as far as I can see is poor. There are many better options other than this company.

The customer service with this place is absolutely horrid. I ordered my shower doors through these guys and when I asked for instructions for my contractor what they sent wasn't even for the unit I purchased. I repeated my request several times only to be told that's all they have. I have had three contractors refuse to install these doors without better instructions.
The unit itself doesn't even have enough screwed to hold all of the u-channels in place. The pictures on their website aren't what you are actually ordering (it showed brackets). I've been hung out to dry by this company. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

Their customer service is very nice and I cannot understand there still are many negative reviews. My specialist, Michelle T., is efficient, helpful and friendly. She answered my repairing questions with professional details so I benefited from it a lot. Contractors Wardrobe gave me a very nice repairing experience when I felt stressed-out as I needed to repair a sliding door. Home Depot provides the special order service for this vendor and Home Depot's service is awesome, too.

I recently ordered 6 sets of closet doors from CW via Home Depot. I took the doors home and realized 1 of them has broken glass panel. Per Home Depot, CW refused to replace the glass panel since the door had arrived at Home Depot more than 24 hours. How can you expect customer to pick up their orders within 24 hours. Also, there was no way to inspect the front side without tearing the packaging apart. I'm very disappointed that I was asked to pay for over $200 to replace 1 glass panel which costs more than the price of the 1 door. Bad customer service and rip off. I will tell all the people I know about this incident.

Impossible to work with. We've been in business for decades and recently service with CW has been sub par. We've had to deal with quotes that take 3 or more days to get back, constant back orders with no one telling us that they're not going to he shipped on time, and no one willing to take responsibility for any of it. Hopefully things improve and we can change this review but seeing as how this has been going on for months now, I don't think anything will be rectified anytime soon.

I went into Home Depot to order a custom shower door. Holcomb is the brand that they have on display and we were happy with what we saw. However our HD rep was pushing the door from contractors wardrobe, telling us that it was a better quality door. We went with her advice and ordered our door through Contractors Wardrobe. She said it would take 6-10 days to get in.
Three weeks go by and we start making phone calls to find out the progress of our door. We got excuse after excuse and ended up with our door almost five weeks into it. We were having a guest come from out of town and needed to get this installed ASAP. Well, when making tempered glass, I learned that the edges need to be sanded smooth before the temper process.
This was not the case, you could see jagged edges where the glass had been cut. I pick up one of the glass panels only to have it explode in my hands. Not only did I have have a million pieces all over my floor, but I had little cuts all over my hands and arms. Then they tried to tell me that I dropped it. A few days later they got me a replacement and again I noticed the jagged edges. They told me it would be fine. I am afraid to use the guest shower.

I had forgotten about this review until tonight. I read that I would update my dealings with this company. I had ordered two sets of wood framed sliding mirrored doors for my master bedroom through Home Depot. After sending back both sets of doors three times because of splintered wood, scratched mirrors, and chipped paint. Contractors Wardrobe fired me as a customer.
Their claim was that I was too picky and that they could not make a door to please me. By the way, the installers hired by Home Depot were the ones who pointed out many of the flaws.

Boy! They do not make customer service like this company any longer. I am so overwhelmed and surprised about how nice this company is. We have 3 sliding mirrored wardrobe doors and the wheels on the doors have warn out. My husband took a photo of it. I researched it on the internet and found out it is from Contractors Wardrobe in Valencia, Ca. I wrote them, showed them a photo of what I was looking for.
They asked me where to ship the wheels, and they showed up about a week later! I asked how much they were, and she had never responded. but low and behold, they showed up in our mailbox! Now if that is not the top notch customer service, stand behind your product, type of company, I don't know what it is! Thank you Michelle Timmons for your outstanding customer service and professionalism. When we go to build our next home, you can count on us to be installing Contractors Wardrobe products. Thank you again so much~ You all have been a life saver!

I ordered a custom CW shower door from HD. Had it installed while I was away, my contractor warned me this was a really cheap doors, but I knew it was custom order and kind of blew him off. When he left there's about 1/2 of framework missing from the bottom of the door, leaving a gap for water leakage and it looks terrible. Have contact them through HD and directly twice.
I think their blowing me off now. All I'm asking for is a replacement door that fully framed. I paid almost 600 dollars for this door, that' subpar. The may end up on small claims court if I don't get some response from them shortly.

Custom service is really really bad. I wish I could give negative score. Spent one week to negotiate with them for issue of the product, never got contact from their customer service proactively. I needed to call them or send email to them in a very high frequency, but could only get few response. It's a biggest nightmare in my life to deal such situation which such kind of bad bad bad customer service. I won't recommend to buy any products with Contractors Wardrobe unless you think you are lucky or you have many time that you can waste with their customer service.

Wow, so much negative feedback from reviews posted. I'm not sure how things could get so mixed up but I'll explain my experience in detail. I did my own field dimensions and used website PDF to plug away. It's very simple to use providing you input the correct dimensions where they apply accordingly. Big difference when you provide "rough opening or net frame".
With my condition, I disclosed net frame width X height. Fired off my generated quote request and got a response the following day with material cost and shipping. Processed payment and resubmitted quote to order confirmation. I got my order confirmation to review and signed off as proceed with order. Keep in mind, I'm purchasing a complete unit including glass.
I don't generate glass sizes but those are factored based on my dimension. With that being said, If my net frame sizes are incorrect, I can see why so many errors on previous reviews? Needless, my lead time was approximately 5 working days and package arrived nicely protected and wrapped complete to minimize any scratches to finish. You have like 24 hours to inspect your goods and compare manifest to hardware and material furnished.
I did notice both my top track and bottom gutter was 1" over my net size. No big deal, cut the inch off and move forward. Plumb, level and square. Follow directions for correct handing in regards to location of shower head and be done with it. Overall finish and function, it's solid and working perfect. As for the quality of moving parts, you're buying a descent entry level unit that is budget minded.
Before you're done adjusting wheels to maintain a good reveal, hold off on applying bottom guide which keeps both glass panels locked from swaying free. Otherwise, you're going to fight design in trying to adjust after you commit to applying bottom guide, no room to fit a wrench when neither glass panel get removed with bottom guide in place.
Will I buy again, heck yeah. My next project is our master bath. I'll be using a frameless system with decorative 3/8th glass incorporating a art design pattern to glass CW offers. Plus it's going to have a 90 degree return with 24" buttress. Pura Vida :'

*** update *** upgrade from 1 star Although I still have issues with customer service and quality, I have to say the company, in light of my complaints, sent a very competent rep to resolve the issue. And, my problem is solved. However, it required very powerful magnets that do not ship with the installation kit, but are often required (per phone and visiting rep). *** end of update *** When you order a custom bi-fold door, the last thing you would think to check is that each panel of the bifold is the same size.
The door was purchased, special order for a custom size, from Home Depot, and build by Contractors Wardrobe. After our contractor spent fours adjusting the hinges and making a perfectly square opening, we still could not get the bifold door to stay shut; it would spring back into half open. Customer service recommended we remove the springs. That did nothing.
Then we were told to get in touch with a local rep who at first recommended we stick a strip of magnetic tape between the panels.an apparent work around. But why would a well built door need a work around? The rep was competent and had us measure both panels. Low and behold, one side was 1/8 wider than the other, causing the door to not stay shut.
That is just poor workmanship, and nothing else. It cost me far more money paid to the contractor, and personal time to get this door in. As of now, Contractors Wardrobe is looking for a solution, and if they can remedy the problem, I would be happy to revise my rating. For now, given the headache and poor workmanship, zero starts would be good. Perhaps standard, non custom sizes do better.

Horrible customer service, stay away from this company. I bought a Brittany closet door and the mirror was coming off the Frame. I was talking to the District manager for contractor wardrobe who takes care of the Home Depots, and he told me I couldn't get a replacement and wouldn't help me and he said and I quote " nothing last forever" and walked away and I was just standing there like seriously. I would give them zero stars but you have to put one. I will never buy anything from contract wardrobe.
