Founded in 1906, by Midway dry goods dealer, Edward Wise, the company has come a long way. Originally located at 159 E. Short St., the company grew out of the burley tobacco business. Wise began making covers for the horse-drawn wagons loaded with tobacco that came to Lexington's warehouses every fall.

I waited over 8 weeks for my awning and when it came it was the wrong color. I understand the wait because of the supply problems due to Covid issues. I also understand that anyone can make a mistake on an order. I tried to negotiate a new order with a reduction in cost due to the inconvenience but Barry Singer would not consider it. He "apologized" for the "inconvenience" and returned my deposit. I will not do business with them again.

I needed the top replaced on my pontoon boat. The job was done quickly and priced well. I was a bit apprehensive to have the work done without leaving the boat with them. I put the new top on yesterday and it fit like a glove. I am thoroughly pleased with my new top. Barry put an awning on my house a few years ago and did an excellent job then. Highly recommend this company.
