It's pretty fun to read all of these awful reviews. Things have not changed at all since I lived in one of their properties. It was so terrible I sold my condo in less than a year! When I moved in, I had a nice letter in my mail box stating my floor was leaking into the condo below and I better make it right and take care of it immediately. What a nice welcome.
I had a plumber come and investigate and the leak was in the wall so it was not even my expense-they should have investigated and taken care of it! Since I was new I just paid for it. The wonderful seller knew it was there and didn't disclose it, I was told she hadn't used that shower for years! Of course they never returned my calls. Next my neighbor and I had the same last name!
So for several months they were putting her dues into my account. So I went to them and asked them, why my dues were so low. They told me it was a credit when I had when I closed and to go shopping! So my bright neighbor never paid attention until she got a big huge bill with all of the months she "supposedly" didn't pay. Which would not have been such a big deal if she wasn't a nut!
She came over knocking at my door nonstop and accused me of stealing her "identity" and threatening to have me arrested in front of my three year old child. I had bought the condo on my own so why would I need her credit. In the meantime I went to New concepts office and was told I need to pay the $900 that day! They finally explained to my neighbor what had happened much later in a letter.
The never apologized or anything and the damage was done! So glad I left right away. I don't think reviews were so common a few years back, but I am hoping these bad ones will help them improve-they are truly awful!

Nancie Thom is simply amazing! She is very responsive and very informative. She will answer any question and provide you with all the information you need! So I just wanted to take the time to say, THANK YOU you so much Nancie for all that you do and for being you! It's very refreshing and greatly appreciated!

The worst management company I have had to deal with in my life. The willfully charge for services they don't provide and then blame the contractors. However, money is paid to them, not the contractor directly, to handle such activity. They will fall short time and time again with no change for the better. We are now almost through December and haven't had our snow cleared once even though this is captured in my monhtly expense.
They simply state that they are working with the removal company to make improvements and yet nothing has been done, simply unaccaptable. It's nothing short of theft to be charged for a service that isn't provided.

The poor customer service with this company is astounding! They will do just enough to keep the money coming in from the HOA, but when it comes to the cares and concerns of individual homeowners, nothing. They have a so-called "Homeowners Relationship Team", that just keeps directing you back to an arrogant, non-responsive property manager that does not want to be bothered with individual homeowner needs.
I know the property management company has to work within certain constraints. I have had excellent care and assistance from an assistant property manager with New Concepts. I believed that she cared about the individual homeowners was happy to assist them. She returned phone calls promptly, answered questions, shared information, and guided you through the HOA process when you needed to get something done. Now, our HOA has a new property manager, which I never received notice of.
I had to call the old assistant property manager to find out that we had a new property manager. The new property manager is arrogant and does not like to share information in order to help the individual homeowner understand the processes involved with HOAs. Getting the necessary help from him is much like trying to pull your own teeth! He will not return phone calls or take any action on my behalf unless I contact the "Homeowners Relationship Team" first and the "Homeowners Relationship Team" tells him he needs to do something.
I am forced to put up with the property manager's arrogant tone, condescension and lack of care and consideration for me as a homeowner. He has clearly decided that he hates my guts and will not do anything for me outside of the minimal requirements, and only if the "Homeowners Relationship Team" tells him to take action. I have literally begged and pleaded with this property management company, but they are insensitive to my needs. I think my HOA needs another property management company.

Recently moved from a property managed by new concepts. Their online portal for processing payments has been terrible for a long time and it is virtually impossible to get in touch with a real human being. For a number of months my bill said "auto pay do not pay" but it was not actually on auto pay and I got stuck with a ton of "collections fees".
Then their phone system shows you right out the door when you try to call. Now that we've moved my account magically IS on auto pay and I tried to cancel it online (since I know I can't call) and their portal was down. Last, judging by my wife's interactions with them, I'm sure they'll find a way to turn this around on me instead of admitting responsibility and refunding my money. Let that tell you everything you need to know.

I have made maintenance requests for the past 3 years to have things done that went unheeded. They had Truseal in Inver Grove Heights replace the stairs at our townhouse (they are the property managers) over a month ago because they were crumbling. The concrete residue on our driveway has remained for over a month. Despite repeated emails, the response I received today was "The Association has decided to not pay to have your driveway cleaned.
It will go away on it's own eventually." As you can see, it has not gone away. We are listing our house for sale and the residue is obviously an eyesore and not conducive to pictures for our listing. I have numerous other stories to tell. Sorry about my name on here! That is the name I have listed on Google and it would not allow me to change it :-)

New Concepts has managed my property for 15+ years. The team has always been prompt with addressing any tenant issues, been able to keep occupancy high, and provided great recommendations to maximize rental income. Ashley Twining, my current property manager, continues the long line of great managers at New Concepts!
