Rob was great-when we had a leak in our roof, he came out quickly to inspect our dance studio for signs of mold. He was speedy and professional, and when he found no evidence of mold, he did not charge us for his time. We will definitely call him again if we need a mold inspection

We had a flooded basement with all the rain that we've had in Colorado the past month and a half. We thought that we could handle the mitigation all by ourselves, but we needed to call in for help. I could not be more impressed with the professionalism and work ethic of 1-800 Water Damage, Mara and Luis. They came in, they worked hard for two days, and they cleaned up all of their mess before they left! We received detailed pictures of what was going on behind our walls too! I'm so thankful that we could count on them to get our home back!

TLDR: I highly recommend this business because of their quality, customer service, and unparalleled communication. I was out of town during a deep freeze on Christmas morning when I got the dreaded call from a friend asking me where my main water shut off valve was, a pipe had burst in my finished basement. I am a first time home-buyer, only 3 months had passed since closing on the house, and had never before filed an insurance claim - I was panicking.

I called many businesses that Christmas morning, both large and small; few answered, some never returned my calls. Fortunately, I got the calm and collected voice of Mara. Mara was very knowledgeable, asked me pertinent questions to try to assess the situation, and made me feel heard, "we'll get it fixed - don't worry". Throughout this experience there were two main points of contact, Mara and Luis, the dynamic duo.

From the very beginning they gave me a breakdown of exactly what was going to happen, when it was going to happen, established clear roles and responsibilities, and most importantly maintained constant communication - I was never left guessing. Luis relied on his years of experience to help me navigate the insurance process and ensured that my claim was prioritized in a time when burst pipes were not only a local issue but a national one.

The services provided can be categorized into (1) mitigation and (2) reconstruction. Mitigation: When I flew back into town I found damaged furniture, soaked carpet, and basement walls/ceiling completely destroyed. Luis, Mara, and their crew took inventory and perfectly documented damaged goods, hauled out damaged furniture and carpet, removed all damaged drywall, salvaged bathroom tile attached to damaged drywall, and began the drying process.

They were very effective and efficient all while minimally disrupting my day-to-day. Reconstruction: This part of the project included putting up drywall, painting, new carpet installation, tile installation, and new doors to be swapped. I can honestly say that the workmanship and attention to detail makes me feel like my basement was left in a better state than before the pipe burst.

Each service was followed with a detailed report, pictures/videos taken, and a line-item breakdown. Luis told me and the insurance adjuster, "a picture is worth $1000 dollars" - thanks to their report's attention to detail, insurance claim was backed by solid evidence and any pushback was met with the pertinent evidence. Luis and Mara, thank you very much for making this horrible experience into a bearable one. I cannot be happier with how things turned out - I would recommend your services to my friends in need in a heartbeat!

Without giving away too many details, I am currently dealing with a potentially unhealthy situation in the place where I am living. The first person who came by to assess everything was from a well known national company that I won't name here, but I'm sure you know. Not only did he show up late and with a bad attitude, he was very cagey about his answers in terms of the severity of what I was dealing with.

Imagine my relief when we asked for a second opinion from 1800 Water Damage and Efrem showed up. When my business had a bathroom water line break in my building that flooded nearly half of our office space, I called 1800-Waterdamage. In less than 2 hours, they had a crew at my location vacuuming up all the water that soaked into the carpets. They worked long hours and even on Sunday to dry out the carpets and the water water soaked drywall using fans and de-humidifiers to make sure everything was completely dry.

They replaced damaged floors and base cove and had throw rugs cleaned before putting them back in the offices. If I ever have a water situation with my home or office again, I will call 1800Waterdamage. I am very happy with the end result. John

During a kitchen remodel our contractor discovered a mold issue which caused a halt to the project. After contacting 1-800 Water Damage, Geoff, the project manager came out the same day and initiated the remediation within 24 hours of our approval to move forward. Jose provided great customer service and he was prompt, courteous, and careful. What could have been a lengthy delay was taken care of quickly and the project is back on track.
