They installed my heat pump for ductless AC and heat about 16 months ago. Had them out for general system maintenance. And they gave me a bid on attic installation which they did 5 days later. This review is about the insulation. On time.even early! Explained the procedure they would use since I have ceiling cassettes for my ductless heat pump system. They were in and out quickly. Friendly and made sure to clean up afterwards. I got to inspect attic before and after insulation.

Good company that gives professional service. Gave me an option of an expensive repair on my 20 year old furnace or to replace. Also that the air conditioner was nearing its end. I went for replacing both. They were able to do it the next day. Veniamin was the installer. Nothing but praise for him. When he pulled up the old air conditioner, the deck boards under it were rotted. I had some treated boards and he cut them to size and repaired the space. I was amazed that they could get electricians on such notice also. Thank you Sunset and Veniamin!

Our service technician Nathan arrived on time and immediately started to service our furnace. During the service Nathan explained concerns found while running the test of the furnace. Once complete, Nathan explained clearly concerns he had found and what we needed to do to correct the concern. We also discussed what it would take to replace our 18 year old furnace. Nathan is a personable, professional and very easy to talk to.

We called Sunset this morning to come take a look at a smoking electrical switch we found in our house. They were able to send out Bailey Rotan within a few hours of us calling and she was able to address the problem and fix it for us quickly. She was great! We had a couple of hiccups trying to get this scheduled, as I kept getting moved later on in the week due to some technicians being out sick. However, once I received the appointment and estimate from Tad, I was very impressed with Sunset Heating and Cooling. Bree in the office was also fantastic at talking care of me throughout the week. Finally Justin arrived and did the work quickly and professionally. My Dad inspected it and commented on what a nice job he did.

They use a third party call service that can be a little wonky. They gave me a timeframe from 2-4, but were too busy to show up. They guaranteed to show the next day, so I gave them a second chance. Super helpful and thorough when they arrived. The actual service was great, but was a little bummed when they didn't show up after confirming (granted it was 106 degrees and the whole city had issues).

Just replaced my 29yr old AC unit and 17yr old furnace. My service tech, Shavon was Awesome! Professional, personable and knowledgeable. She spent close to 2 hrs diagnosing, suggesting options with no high pressure tactics. That was on a Saturday. Monday morning the installer was on the job as promised. Veniamin and his partner did an excellent job! The electrician as well. Great service, great company!

Sunset was quick to send out a technician to deal with an a/c issue when other companies I contacted would not. Our technician Ryan easily resolved our problem and identified a few issues that could be proactively addressed to prevent future a/c failure and costly repairs. Sam was great to work with! Kept me in the loop as he was troubleshooting the issue and eventually repairing our AC. My only complaint is the lack of communication on the company's part. We had to call several times to get the repair scheduled after the problem was identified. To be fair, I will say this was over the the holiday week.

I called Sunset Heating and Cooling yesterday morning regarding my A/C not cooling enough. The technician arrived sometime after 1PM and by 2PM, the house was starting to cool down. Last summer I had called another company regarding my A/C unit and all the person did was to say "the unit is low in feron" and "need a new coil" without ever researching the problem. I will use Sunset Heating and Cooling again.

I had originally purchase a service plan for my HVAC system, but while Marques was inspecting my furnace he showed me pictures of my furnace that had cracks and needed replacing. He helped me select the furnace that fit my budget as well as a new hot water heater. He scheduled the install for later in the week. He was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.

Nathan was great! Very knowledgeable, professional, amiable & didn't try to sell me the top of the line expensive heat pump. I told him my situation & he suggested one that fit my plan & budget. I love the 10 months, zero interest or payments. The technicians will be here on Monday to install it, just in time to have it running before the heat wave.

I highly recommend this company especially Thomas Marques HVAC Service Tech. Thorough smart honest and just a really nice guy in general! He even took the time to show us through a camera our furnace issue! Unfortunately we need to replace the old with a new one! He gave us a good price! And Sunset is coming back tomorrow June 29th (2023) to install a new furnace. He also went outside and cleaned our air conditioner! I was told by someone else that we don't need to clean our air conditioner, really? Anyways Thomas is your man!

The technicians informed me of their impending arrival and they showed up on schedule. They were professional and friendly. After locating the old units, they went directly to work removing them. Justin answered our questions thoroughly and pleasantly. Upon completion of installing the new HVAC system, we were informed of what to expect upon each test of the system.
We were also informed of who to call should there be any questions or problems. They respected us, our property, and cleaned up all the debris. Both technicians are a credit to Sunset Heating and Cooling.

I tried to see the more options for what you guys did for me. But I'll put in this comment. You did an amazing job cleaning the ducts and getting me a new hvac system! Install team was amazing! Kudos to them. THE only thing I would say was an issue was your scheduler. They need a little bit more training on communicating. It was a bit of hassle trying to get scheduled w/crane and trying to get a hold of said person was also a problem. Still 5 stars though because the real champs are the installers and cleaners!

After 17 years our furnace and AC needed to be updated. I really appreciated the professional service provided by a friendly staff that communicated exceptionally. From our initial visit with Matt and his recommendations for various replacement/repair options, to the hard working and dedicated team of John and Kaimana doing installation (and Robert and Rich who supervised) and Ethan who cleaned our vents, the entire process was exceptional. Overall, a great experience for a very expensive investment. Keep up the good work.

John and Kaimana did an awesome job installing my new air conditioning and explaining the process to me. They were professional, knowledgeable, punctual and helpful. It was a long day with some extra services they needed to install with my particular existing furnace but they worked hard until the end, making sure it was all in great working order.
