Called for residential lockout services. Price is $35 plus labor which starts at $65. Tech quoted labor at $130 for the door knob ($165 total). I paid since he was there and I was locked out. Took 7mins total (sprayed some wd40 and picked it) He couldn’t give an explanation for why it was so much more then base price saying “company price”. Other quote I got from competitor was $115.

The dispatch called to check in. I asked for an explanation for the price. He referred to the tech quoting it. I asked what would be easier than the door knob as I was curious why they say it starts at 65 but ends up being 130 in labor. You should have an idea what the base service is. He then hangs up on me. They were quick - got here in 20 minutes but not upfront about pricing and hung up on me.
