Walt has been great the entire time! After a small misunderstanding on my part, he explained the process, the costs, helped us out with the pricing and helped to get us in and out! They came promptly with a good estimate. They were on time, very friendly and professional. Did a great job, cleaned up everything like they were never there! Would definitely recommend them for any tree or stump removal.

These guys are great! Walt came out the day I called to give me a quote for the work we needed done. We had several weather delays, but Walt stayed in touch to keep me informed of his plans. Once there was a sufficient break in the weather for his crew to operate safely, Walt and his men came to do the work. Before starting, Walt reviewed the plan with me one more time to make sure they were removing the right trees and limbs.

We had a large section of a tree growing toward our house with several of the branches touching the corner of the house. Any section that could possibly hit our house, our fence, or the neighbor’s work shed was tied off before the cutting began, and then guided safely to the ground after it was removed from the tree. They worked safely as a team to make sure the work was done well and without any damage to the buildings or fence.

Once all of the limbs and tree sections had been removed, they cleaned up all of the leaves and small limbs that had fallen in the yard. After they were done, Walt reviewed the work with me to make sure they had done all that I was expecting. It was a very professional job and I highly recommend them.

Wow! Walt did an incredible job for me. From the start to the finish the communication was great. We took six trees out of our back yard using a crane. He made a plan and executed the job without any hang ups. The only way you could tell that he had been that morning was the flower beds had a lot more mulch and he left a sign advertising his service after the job had been completed. I strongly recommend this company. I also like using the local guy and Walt has been in the area his whole life.

We had an EXCELLENT experience with Walt's Tree and Stump Removal, and we would highly recommend them to anyone needing trees removed. We had four trees taken down - two tall pines, and enormous beech, and a medium-sized maple - all near power lines or within striking distance of our home. Walt returned our email inquiry the same day, was out a day later for a free estimate, and we had the work done within a week of beginning the process.

His crew was fast, professional, and you would never know that they were here (other than the trees and stumps being gone, of course). We used Walt's service for a second time just a few days ago (August 2018), and we had a fantastic experience again.

He and his crew removed one tree and significantly pruned and removed a massive limb from an oak tree (along with some other large trees on the property). Just like last time, Walt came out the next day to provide advice and an estimate, and he started the job the very next day. After two days in the sweltering heat, the job was done. When we need more trees removed, Walt's Tree & Stump will be our first choice for the job.

I called 3 tree services, all promising that they would be out to my place to look at my problem tree. Walts was the only the only one that came through. He immediately assessed the problem & provided his recommendations. We have been having very windy weather & I was very nervous that the tree would crack & fall. He & crew showed up first thing the next morning, despite the still windy conditions. Removed the tree, did some extra trimming of overhanging branches on the house & even told me of an issue I have on my roof! Cleanup was excellent. I could not be more satisfied with the Walts service. I highly recommend him!

If you ever need trees pruned, Walt is the man for the job. We needed some trees pruned that were touching our roof. We contacted Walt, who came out to discuss the work, and offered a reasonable price. He and his crew did an outstanding job of pruning the trees back, and cleaning up the debris afterward. This should be the first and only business you need to call for tree care service. I called for an estimate for a damaged tree (major trunk split and downed limbs as a result) in the morning, and Walt was out at my house within 2 hours. We surveyed the damaged tree, as well as the overgrown tree next to it and discussed options. He had his crew at my property within an hour, and they got right to work.

They removed the damaged section, and where there was any question about whether I wanted something trimmed or left alone, he had me come out and discuss it with him. They also trimmed the overgrown tree next to it, which looks so much better now. They were quick and professional; clean-up was thorough. I would recommend them to anyone!

Walt’s tree service was the second company I have ever used. They just completed cutting down 6 - very large pine trees. Very professional team and were conscientious of clean up too. Highly recommended their service. Before we chose Walt’s tree service, we got quotes from several companies. There’s the ‘2 man and truck’ groups out there that will do it cheap, but there’s high risk from the mom and pops of not being trained or proper equipment!

Absolutely wonderful service! Crew arrived on time and ready to tackle trimming our large pine trees. Walt (owner) walked us through what and how they were planning to tackle the job. Before starting, the crew had a safety meeting and made sure to accommodate my neighbor’s concerns. The crew was extremely professional and were mindful of my property.
